imdocrob
I too am glad Halak is getting the start. I have always thought it should be a competition to see who is our #1 goalie. I think the powers that be have annointed Price as the Saviour of this team without him doing anything to earn it. I'm not saying that he will or will not be, just that I think anyone should have to earn the place they are at in this world. Nothing like a good dose of competition to bring out the best. I see that when Halak gets his starts but not as much with Price cause I think he knows he will be back in regardless of how Halak performs. Just mho. bailey1
Couple things I'm having a laugh about. 1. Tavares is the 3rd highest paid on the team (3.75M). Good on him, but holy cow! 2. Yashin is the 4th highest paid on the team. 3. Yashin is still on the Ilse payroll for 1...2...3...4...5...6 seasons. Epic Fail on 2. and 3. GO HABS GO!!! adamkennelly
according to tsn lines vs Islanders Forwards: Cammalleri - Gomez - Gionta Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Lapierre Moen - Metropolit - Pacioretty Latendresse - Chipchura - D'Agostini Defencemen: Hamrlik - Spacek Gill - Gorges Bergeron - Mara Goaltenders: Halak Price that 4th line is horrible - D'Agostini is pretty much useless out there on a 4th line, can't back check, can't really hit and takes a lot of bad penalties. Stewie should get the nod in his place.
imdocrob
See Habs I/O for linuep that 4th line is horrible - D'Agostini is pretty much useless out there on a 4th line, can't back check, can't really hit and takes a lot of bad penalties. Stewie should get the nod in his place. I agree I would like to see Stewy back in the lineup see if it has lit a fire under him while sitting. Guest habs1952
Let's hope we get a strong start from Halak and we also get some secondary scoring. Time to get on a roll!! Go Habs Go!!!!!
netcase
Awesome for Halak! As much as I wouldn't have minded seeing Price in net again tonight, Halak played very solid in his last outing. I hope he has a great game and helps is put a beatdown on the NYI. I'm also happy to see that Martin is willing to rotate his goaltenders. I believe Price is our number 1, but don't mind seeing Halak get some additional games, too! Price needs to sit before he blows another psychological valve. Haro can more than enough keep the net clean.

rypat19
Cant wait to hear Tavares get booed haha. got nothin against the kid but it will be funny. Glad to see MaxLap get a promotion, with Begin, Boullion and Kostopolous gone hes pretty much the biggest heart and soul kinda guy we got, and he pisses off everyone, and look what that did for the career of people like Sean Avery, Max isn't that much of a *****, but it works. I'm against sitting Laraque though, sit Chipchura or D'ags, neither have done anything so far. Now with Laraque out, some midget will throw around gill again. can't happen gill is safe on the midgets are on the canadiens first line English forum here... it was english tryin to keep it clean for the young people not that hard of a code to figure out
