If only Tommy could shoot with some authority! This kid is a true warrior, he hustles every shift, he goes hard to the net, he's not scared to get dirty and he shoots the puck (not with any kind of power or accuracy but he gets pucks on net)!

Great playoffs for him so far!

Maybe we should look into acquiring his older brother Taylor. :D

Hmmmm, that's an interesting point. That's a brother tandem that we could benefit from. How about AK and SK for Pyatt!

Taylor Pyatt is a UFA on July 1st. He makes 600k NOW, we can probably get him for very little more over the summer. He's also a beast.

This guy must be still smiling from the great game he played last night. scoring a goal and getting an assist aswell. what else can we ask for from a (3rd) 4th liner like him.

I am all for bringing his brother here too.....maybe we will finally have a pair of brothers that show up to play hard!

I thought he was good again last night. Has a knack for doing the little, important and subtle things that help to win hockey games.

gonna be a key cog on our 3rd line for years to come

It's not charging the blue line, it's sliding over to take away Gonchar's shooting lane. He got caught in the wash on the far side and didn't rotate over to Gonchar until it was too late.

ya i know, but away from Pyatt for a moment here we have allowed Gonchar all the time and space he has wanted in this series and im tired of it

I think MAB deserves a bit of blame for that goal too. Gorges was tied up on the right side with Dupuis, and Crosby was able to skate to the crease area untouched for that rebound. If it wasn't Crosby then I'd be a little more forgiving because a forward could have switched off, but as a D-man MAB needs to keep track of players like Crosby at all times.

Oh, I was talking about the third Pitt goal, the one Guerin tipped off a Gonchar right point shot late in the third period. Pyatt had contain responsibility for Gonchar and he just didn't get over in time.

On the first goal, I don't know how MAB wound up on the ice against Crosby of all people in our building.

Ah you're right, I just read something about poor point coverage and just assumed you were talking about the first goal. If I had been paying attention I would have noticed that on the first goal it was Eaton (not Gonchar) getting a shot off with Lapierre (not Pyatt) failing to get in the shooting lane.

Watching the replay on the Guerin goal, I definitely agree about Pyatt.
