While the Boltz are not the best team in the league, statistically they are better than we are at the moment. They have a better record, only one point less with two games in hand, and are second in their division while we are third (blast you, Kovalev!). They won't roll over....no one does.

It's up to the Habs to come out fighting. Against Boston I started seeing some real coherence, even though we had our share of mistakes, too. And we're still playing through injuries while learning a new system will a bunch of new faces. It's only going to get better for this team. I still stand by my prediction that at some point later this year, we will be the hardest team to beat in the East.....maybe not the best overall record, but hopefully, going into the playoffs we will be playing our best hockey.

But tonight....probably another tough game. It doesn't really matter who we are playing, if we don't hit the net on our shots, we won't put anybody away early or convincingly. If we don't make good, crisp, tape-to-tape passes, we will struggle just to get out of our zone. If we play soft and sloppy defense, we wil find ourselves in a hole.

And I don't think it really matters who is in goal. Both Price and Halak are very good 'tenders, excellent team players, and now with JM running the bench his way, both have to be very competititve, which is good for us. Price actually was stellar last game, and that was a good thing to see. But I think if we ever decide to give either one a few goals as a cushion, we're good to go. So, the bottom line is.....we need to score more. We need to become absolutely lethal when we have our chances. And we need to improve on the power play, big time.

But we can always fall back on one thing.....if this game goes to overtime or shootout, it's ours, baby! We own overtime!! super-banana.gif

I'm laughing at the "Easy Habs win" option. Anyone who votes for that hasn't been following this team, lol.

+100 :P

I got easy win for tampa. I'll be cheering for Stamkos for this game.

:angry::blink:;)

I'll be at this game, I was REALLY hoping to see Hedman play but I'll have to wait another time sadly.

Coolllllllllllllll

Injoy yourself tonight....ENJOY OUR HABS WIN! :P

Sorry to disappoint....but Hedman not in the line up .

Also, it appears that Gionta wasn't on the ice at training today, due to a leg injury.

What the heck....this sucks.

Habs need to be able to win one comfortable. Too many close games.

In other words....would be a nice change to win this game .....IN REGULATION .

EASY WIN....bring it on!

As you would say.....NOT

Come on...Easy win for Tampa. You must have had a bit too many cocktails bud. HABS win 4-2. Stamkos -3

Well we won one on a so-so effort the other night so it's time to turn it back up boys. Big W tonight against the Lightning!!!

GOHABSGO!

I think this is going to be our most confortable victory so far this season. 6-1 Montreal.

High roller eh? :D

Umm...did a Lightning fan hack your account?

Lol.

ya if this team is up by 12 goals with one second left to play the game isnt over, thats how bad it is

Up 12 goals....that indeed would be considered .....an easyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy win. :P

Ae least we'll win it in overtime or shootout GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!

Again...I'm gonna be picky here.....want to see the habs win in regulation tonight.......

Not at all. How many times have we been burned by Vinny and Marty? I could honestly say there is a high chance we'll get burned by them again and get burned by Tanguay and Stamkos. I may be wrong but I'm cheering for Vinny , Marty and Stamkos because they are going to be playing in the olympics! I'm also cheering for price to get called up to be a goalie so its a win win for me atleast.

How do ya all think the fans at the bell center tonight will welcome Tanguay?????

Neutral I would assume. No booing or cheering
