If it wasn't for the history of this team I'd be inclined to celebrate with the same enthusiasm the Habs have displayed in recent games, but I have too many fond memories to do so. I've seen the Habs win 17 cups though admittedly I was quite young to really recall the first few. When you have seen your team be successful over the past 50+ years your expectations are probably a little higher than those of a Bruins fan therefore my expectations tonight are a Habs victory. The history is great but I find it quite disconnected from today, not only in terms of the current team not living up to the past dynasties but in terms of hockey being a totally different animal than it used to be. I loved it then, I love it now though differently. For tomorrow (tonight) all I'm wishing for is entertainment. I know I will get it from the ceremonies and the showing of the movie after the game. As for the game itself, if the boys show up to play and give us a typical Bruins-Habs display, win or lose, I'll be totally happy when I leave the Bell Centre.
