grecohab
Hamilton will be a completely different team next year. Tinordi, Beaulieu, Ellis, Gallagher, Bournival, Holland, Pateryn, will probably join the club, and add to this some of Geoffrion, Leblanc, Palushaj (maybe) its going to be a fashinating year... GermanHabsNation
No chance Palushaj plays a single game for Hamilton next season as he would have to clear waivers first and would be claimed by another team.
Habberwacky
No chance Palushaj plays a single game for Hamilton next season as he would have to clear waivers first and would be claimed by another team. I agree it is a make or break year for Palushaj,or he may be moved with a d-man or a Blunden. As for keeping a veteran presence in Hamilton, Gomez and Kaberle might find themselves waived if they don't get it together. It will be interesting to see the pressure on the big club as we appear to be developing an extremely good core at defense. It is definitely going to be an interesting training camp. Aussie6898
I must agree I think that the pressure on the underperformers on defense is mounting drastically with all the d coming in from Europe and Junior.
grecohab
Predictions on the Buldogs lineup in 2012-2013 Lawson-Mayer Geoffrion-Enqvist-Palushaj Masse-Holland-Gallagher Bournival-Nattinen-Avtsin Conboy-Dumont-Schultz ex.Berger/Lefebre/Slaney Nash-Stejskal Tinordi-Beaulieu Pateryn-Ellis ex.Mitera/Dietz This is a very scary team. Not experienced, but fully talented, attenders will have alot of fun next year. St.Denis is Habs 7th D, thats why i haven't plugged him in. I suspect i turnover season in Hamilton. Good ideas but where's Delmas and Gomez. I believe that Dietz will be a top 6 guy right away.

BigTed3
TVA Sports report that Sylvain Lefebvre will be the new Hamilton head coach Same news coming out of other sources too now. Great news if it's true. This is a guy who has experience as an assistant coach in the NHL and who could be developed into the next head coach if we need a guy to replace Therrien. LeFreshMaker
I'm really excited to see what the Dogs can do with all the newcomers and the new Head Coach. Should be an exciting year at the very least. I don't have high expectations due to all the change, but I wouldn't mind at all if they surprise me and do very well next season. js2
Did the coach not have a system last season? I didn't follow the Dogs well enough last season to know... It seemed as if they were always scrambling and hoping to make the odd rush up the ice. I'm not sure what the team practiced all season but it wasn't anything to prepare for any in-game situations. Aussie6898
I know that with Price in net we're set in nets for a while but I think that we should take precautions because we dont know if Price will get a terrible injury and never be the same. I believe we need to get some back up in our system right now we've got two goalies but from what Ive heard they aren't very good. At development camp right now, we have two or three tryouts that I believe we should give deals to. From what ive heard Brandon Maxwell, Aaron Dell are really good. Yeah, with at least three rookie D and F each it should be very interesting indeed. They should all get lots of quality ice time. Yes we definitely need to keep close eye on goalie situation as I doubt our present lot isn't going to make. I just got a multi-quote but not sure why. These forums are great but I'm still somewhat overwhelmed on using them.

Heh, no worries Habitom, it just takes some getting used to I find sometimes if you post twice in the same thread back to back that your two posts get merged into one. That may be what happened to you here: you replied to two people quickly enough that the system merged the two responses into one big post. 31Careyprice
I see Leblanc starting in the AHL this year while Geoffrion and Palushaj in the NHL. I don't see how Holland can beat out bought Dumont and Nattinen for 2nd line spot, Holland is the most offensively gifted out of the three but the other two are a lot more experience with the AHL. THEBIGGESTHABSFAN123
With what's been going on with free agency, all of Leblanc, Palushaj, Geoffrion, and St.Denis will likely start in Hamilton. This team looks very scary. Palushaj-Leblanc-Geoffrion Avstin-Holland-Gallagher Conboy-Nattinen-Bournival Quailer-Dumont-Schultz Nash-St.Denis Tinordi-Ellis Beaulieu-Pateyrn Lawson(Is he still with the team?)-Mayer I might have missed somebody. We've signed Blunden and Desjardins to 1 year, 2-way deals. I'm guessing that means Lawson is gone. We're to slot Blunden...On the 2nd line with Holland and Gallagher? So, we're to put Avstin? However Lefebvre makes the lineup, the dogs are looking deadly.
