Bastian_mtl
Nice, now let's see what this guy can do in the NHL. He does put up some decent numbers in the AHL. He has some good size, don't not about his speed, or anything else about him for that matter. 4 PIM's in 32 games, wow, nice. Hmm, wonder what line he'll be on, 3rd/4th I'm sure. adamkennelly
this has to be to put pressure on D'Ags and Pax - no way anyone thinks this guy is going to solve this team's problems.

Kerrhea
Maybe a trade? I watched him play a few hamilton and he did pretty good in the beginning of the season. If I remember clearly, He is pretty speedy and can score.
js2
Isn't Pouliot injured? I'm sure Darche will be filling in for him on the Gomez line.
AK-1
Isn't Pouliot injured? I'm sure Darche will be filling in for him on the Gomez line. Pouliot was fine at practice today. Martin was maybe hinting at the RW spot for Darche with Cammalleri & Plekanec when he mentioned D'Agostini's production (or lack there of). http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/290641.html

Prokofievian
I totally agree with you, dags and pax have to go, make a damn trade already, gainey Patches is not terrible. He's just been handled improperly. He should be in the AHL currently.
Johnny_Storm
If the habs are going to fill the team will redundant players they might as well be from Montreal. Plus, JM will not have to hold his hand like he does with paches, d'ags, sk74, which will be refreshing for him I'm sure.

WaterWolf37
ths is the best you can think of Bob? come on, did you bump your head? Are you letting the ladies in the office make these call ups for you? No offence to Mathieu but @ 33 and having 101 previous kicks at the can why not go for a kid from the dogs? someone full of ***** and vinagar. just my 2 cents
adamkennelly
Eric Nielson and Ryan White should be called up as well. Sit Laraque, D'Ags and Patches for a few games and see what happens.
leafs_rock_go_mccabe
What's the purpose of this call-up? Is Darche a defensive player? I'm just curious as to what role he will be filling with the club while he is here. Can he fight? Can he kill penalties? Can he check an opposing team's top-6 forwards? koreysecord1992
Hm, I didn't expect this. I'm curious to see what he'll do (if he even plays) in MTL. Will he be sent down tomorrow?
QbGamer
Big bodied forward, who has to be better then dags. Older more mature.. Will be interesting Last time we called up a older guy JAY LEECH, he did pretty well
leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Oh man! Apparently he's playing on a line with Cammalleri and Plekanec. Has it really come to this? Andrei Kostitsyn can't comeback soon enough.
