NickThaHitman42
http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=4840054 Stanley cup champion in 2009, hmm, we got 1 player off the pens (Gill) who wasn't all that good, maybe we can take sykora( as if) i guess he could play with pleks and cammy, also, we got pouliot from the wild, and hes doing good, maybe playing in the mecca of hockey will make him better too
jim777
I think Petr's tank is empty. He's been cuncussed most of the season as well. Hopefully he has a good retirement and not one filled with lingering after effects of concussions.
Ramadolly
I say give him a shot and put him with Gionta and Gomez. There you go! You now have the Montreal Devils line! lol
bailey1
Well, Montreal does love their Czechs! Plekanec, Hamrlik, Spacek, Bonk, Bulis, and Lang <--- Last decade.
Ramadolly
How is Robert Lang doing in Phoenix? The team at least on the ice seems to be doing all right.

Wayne-1
Last 2 years, 2 teams, both waived him... its time to hang 'em up, Petr. to be fair, Pittsburgh only did it because they needed the cap room for Bill Guerin... they brought him back for the playofffs... oops, never mind that was Miro Satan I was thinking of... but then that makes me wonder, jedimass, which was the other team to waive Sykora?... did you make the same mistake I did? because Sykora played 76 regular season games for the Penguins last year, the 6 games missed were minor injures in Oct and Mar... Mauro-Biello
It wouldn't hurt to give him a chance right now I suppose.

Wow, you know what: I sure did. Weird. I swore he was waived last year, but I think you're right, it was Satan I was thinking of. I stand corrected. Bastian_mtl
always thought the point of being in the NHL was to win the cup, not come in dead last and get good picks But when we have absolutely NO CHANCE, whats the sence in trying? Try, fail, mediocre pick. Bomb...decent/better pick. No? Really, who's kidding who?

Really, who's kidding who? Well then it would be logical for Gainey and Martin to do everything possible to fail like trade away Hamrlik,Spacek,Laraque and bring in some young prospects to replace them.
