YOU HAVE TO GO WITH THE HOT GOALIE......HALAK.....I would not want to be in Gaineys shoes right now. That is tough decision to make for the future, which goalie????

not a hard choice really, he keeps playing like this he aint going nowhere

We are tied with the Rangers with the same number of games played in the books but ahead of them in virtue of more Ws. I agree it would be nice to take care of business tomorrow and get the jump on New York. Go Habs Go!

Officially in 7th spot ,,,,,,,,,,YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Since the lockout the 8th placed team has been averaging 90 points in the Eastern Conference. Almost all teams we're competing with have two games in hand. Not exact calculations or anything, but if history is any indicator of what is needed to make the post season, the Habs need to go about 17-10. This is an important week, as we play Florida who is sitting 2 points behind us with one game in hand. Boston 1 point behind us with two games in hand and Tampa 3 points behind us with two games in hand.

7th place is looking quite deceiving at the moment. We need a big week, followed by another big week... and another and another.

Easy choice for me...Price is two years younger with more experience...taller in height & better at stopping breakaways.

If it wasn't for a few blowout games when Habs defense screwed Price over, then Price would have the same SAVE% & GGA as Halak...

yet Halak has twice as much wins and Price has twice as much loses, this is because Price hasn't had much goal support and has played harder teams!

Go! Habs,Caps,Ducks and Devils! the perfect night if these teams win :)

wow haven't heard that before.

seems to me, Halak won against the Devils, a real easy team there.

anyways, I couldn't help myself, sorry, and go habs & whoever is in net.

I'm comfortable with whoever plays in net tonught. I hope the team plays a good team game that is what will really make the difference. I don't know about the roster changes when your team is winning though, sort of the same as riding the hot goalie. I understand the changes and hope they're good for Dags & Pacs but I still like keeping it the same when your winning!

GO HABS GO!!!!

Vokoun has been hot, but so have a number of the Habs' scorers so I'm hoping the latter wins out tonight. Without Horton FLA is definitely playing shorthanded, but they're coming off a shutout too so it should be a good game.

Final score: 3-1 Habs

Getting the first goal tonight is going to be real important, Florida is going to be checking close, Knowing their top scorer is out. Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!

But we don't' want to give any points to FLA at all. Even a win in OT is not that great for us, we need to win and win in regulation. If you assume all games in hand are wins, we aren't in that great of shape here.

While I agree that we don't want to give up points to anyone, if... and only IF, we lose the game the one point would be better than none.

Either way, go habs go, and get a win.
