ColRouleBleu
Keeping with tradition, the players, coaching staff and ambassadors of the Montreal Canadiens will take part in the Canadiens’ 28th Annual Blood Drive on Friday, February 26, 2010, at the Salle des pas perdus of the Windsor Train Station. Like every year, donors are expected for this special day to help Héma-Québec collect some 600 units of blood. From 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., different players and Montreal Canadiens Alumni will be there to thank the donors for their generosity. http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=516208

FirstStar
Aww, I'd love too, but with the business I'm in they wouldn't take my blood. They say anyone who's been tattooed should wait at least 6 months before giving blood. Actually, maybe this is a good thing to mention... If you have been tattooed in the last year, let them know in advance.

FirstStar
I think they make you fill a questionnaire You're probably right... They just happened to ask me since I had visible tattoos, otherwise I wouldn't have even thought about it. Better to be safe I guess.

Lynch_mtl
yea, I know, but there's a place for people who don't give blood and they can meet the players. I remember last year, my dad and I were trying to get an autograph from Georges Laraque for my little sister's birthday. We already had a lot of autographs from players at the blood drive, but we also wanted Laraque's. He was near the end of the line, so we wanted to make sure to get one soon, so we got to him and asked if he could sign the photo, and sign "to Rachel", but he told us he didn't personalize. So, we asked if we could have an autograph that wasn't personalized, as she'd probably enjoy that just as much. Instead of signing the photo he just turned around and walked away. I was soooooo upset. I hope this year is a better experience for me in terms of getting autographs, but I'm hoping to gve blood too this year. Should be fun.
