The 26-year old has appeared in 47 games this season, recording six goals and 13 assists. In 223 career NHL games, Grebeshkov has 16 goals and 66 assists. ozweego
He would have been a nice fit here I think, and for a 2nd rounder, well we don't have one anymore. I think he could be signed on the cheap too after a pretty disappointing year in Edmonton. Definitely better then a Gill!!!

Definitely better then a Gill!!!why don't you stop your complaining until you get your facts correct... the Habs have their 2010 2nd rd pick... they traded their 2011 (which experts deem to be MUCH weaker draft class ) pick for Dominic Moore... flamesgal1
and I think he made the same complaint in the Moore thread as well... be unhappy about the Moore deal if you want, but do it for a reason that actually exists... Nashville gives up a lower second round pick for a younger player on the blueline who was on pace for close to 40 points after a 39 point season. We get a center who had a carrer high 45 points in one season who is going on 30 UFA while giving up a higher second round pick. Yep if he has a right to be unhappy in this thread and the Moore thread, deals like this even make ours looks worse.

I Agree, your right forget about the draft position, forget about the draft year. They just simply got a better player for a second round pick, hands down. Grebishov - 26 years old, first round draft pick, top line power play man, top 4 or 5 deeman, averages a point 37 % of the time. Moore - 29 years old , 3rd round selection, 3rd or fourth line role player at best, UFA, averages a point in 33% of the time.
