AK-1
Aaron Palushaj NUMBER: 60 HEIGHT: 5' 11" WEIGHT: 187 SHOOTS: RIGHT BORN: 7 SEP 1989 (AGE 21) BIRTHPLACE: LIVONIA, MI, UNITED STATES DRAFTED: STL / 2007 NHL ENTRY DRAFT ROUND: 2ND (44TH OVERALL) --- -------- Who is Aaron Palushaj? It beats us, but someone in the Habs system knows all about him. First of all, Aaron Palushaj’s last name is pronounced puh-LOO-shigh, second of all, he’s Max Pacioretty’s old college roommate from their days at the University of Michigan. Teammates during Pacioretty’s only season in Ann Arbour in 2007-08, Palushaj and his fellow freshman piled up 44 and 39 points, respectively across the Wolverines 43-game schedule to sit third and fourth in team scoring behind only a pair of seniors. leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Here's hoping he and Pacioretty can find some magic in Hamilton and develop into competent, top-6 forwards!
Telly_39_s_1
A healthy farm team is a happy farm team, and will only serve us well in the future!

Telly_39_s_1
In the first picture on AK's posts he kind of looks like Luongo. So he looks like Luongo and Lecavalier? Nice! Now we just need to find a minor-league Ovechkin lookalike, sign him, and be happy

FirstStar
From all accounts this kid has a lot of promise... It wasn't a blockbuster move, but PG had to find a way to move Dags and he got a prospect for him. I say well done, Dags-at this point-was just taking up roster space, his departure opens the door for one of our AHLer's-who have actually done well this season with the big club. From what I hear he was drafted higher than Dags, so... We're already ahead.
SteenIsThaFuture
I like this move a lot, Palushaj is actually a decent prospect. He'll slide into the organzation below LeBlanc and maybe just ahead of Kristo in terms of forward depth. Had trouble adjusting to the pro game this season, but he was absolutely stellar in his pre-pro American leagues. Good pick-up for MTL.

Hemsky83_09
Personally I'd say Palushaj looks more like some kind of freaky Robetro Luongo-Ryan Miller hybrid Does that mean he's a good defensive forward?

madsprite18
Hopefully we will get to see him tonight's game - he was at Copps last game but in the stands or press box - should be interesting. Welcome to the Dog Pound (and the Hammer!).
Telly_39_s_1
Does anyone he know if he'll be in the lineup tonight for the game against the Wolves? Should be a great game, too!
madsprite18
He was listed as #28 on the lineup for Wed's game but did not skate pregame or play. I expect him tonight - against CHELIOS and the Wolves - will let you know after!

Whats the station on the radio??? Chelios is not with the Wolves anymore Swansee as he was signed by an NHL team this week. He was signed by the Thrashers, then sent to Chicago (their AHL farm team). Telly_39_s_1
Whats the station on the radio??? I was listening to the radio feed on my computer through the AHL's website. They've got them for all the 'Dogs games.
Johnny_rudeboy
He was signed by the Thrashers, then sent to Chicago (their AHL farm team). Thanks, I definitely missed that part. I thought the Thrashers signed him to have him help in their push to get into the playoffs. I imagine how he felt to be going from one AHL team to another.
