A-K-46
So guys who do you think is the most improved player this season? For me it's a tough descision between a great selection of candidates. But after looking it all over, for me, its Ryan O''byrne. He's given it his all game in and game out, he has solified a place in the top 2 playing with markov. Some call him komi v2.0. Thios big physical defenceman has worked his way into the line up through his physical play. Going from a call up an 7th defenceman to a top 2 guy in less then a year this guy has to be the most improved. IMHO.
Hawker_mtl
Going from a call up an 7th defenceman to a top 2 guy in less then a year this guy has to be the most improved. IMHO. While I think OB is an extremely worthy candidate, on a team with a more balanced defense corps, he is probably on the 3rd pairing. JM just plays his pairings in an odd manner. My vote goes to SK. He went from the fan's whipping boy to only being JM's whipping boy. That's impressive!
X-HHP56-X
Halak of course Halak well he didi'nt improove that much but he became an excellent player
cbarker78
I voted for Halak. There were also some other notable improvements.Ryan O byrne, and even though he was benched recently SK was playing a lot better.I think AK should be benched and SK should take his spot given the way the 2 have been playing lately. Yeah ryan O'Byrne as well I think he is sort of a good player now but it took him a lot of time
ruuvimeisseli
S.kostitsyn from a lazy cocky player to an excellent two way speedy forward. Plekanec imo did not improve he is just trying 110% every game because he wants a big pay raise.
ColRouleBleu
I voted pleki. he was on everyone's trade list last summer following a bad season. he's improved the mental and physical aspects of his game to a level not anticipated by many

Hawker_mtl
I may very well have picked Pleks, but I'm seeing this year as more of a return to form for him than a typical improvement. That's why SK got my vote. He's a much better 2-way player now than he ever was.

ChiLla
Difficult decision between O'Byrne and Plekanec for me.
ewraras
For most improved, I only have to look at where they were last year (talent-wise) to this year - for me it's O'Byrne hands-down. Everyone else in the list IMO had already displayed some of the talent that got them a nod, whereas O'Byrne had shown none of it. Atta boy Ryan!!! tony5775
Its O'Bryne for me over Plekanec. Because I always knew that Plekanec was a #1 center. But I never expected O'Bryne to take the next step so quickly.
leafs_rock_go_mccabe
I agree that Ryan and Tomas have improved this season, but Halak went from 'backup goaltender with starting potential' to 'starting goaltender who put us in the post-season.' There's no way Halak isn't the most improved player this season for Montreal.

CanadianMike
not sure why some of you are voting for Halak (he was always good) My vote went to O'BY (from bad to good)
leafs_rock_go_mccabe
not sure why some of you are voting for Halak (he was always good) My vote went to O'BY (from bad to good) It's hard not to vote for Halak when he has taken us to the post-season without much assistance from the club. I guess whether or not he has "improved" is debatable, but he has definitely proven that he can be a starter this season, unlike last.

Guest Carey_Price
Plekanec didn't really improve...he just bounced back from his bad season last year, he's a 60+ points guy to me. O'Byrne deffs improved.
