What up guys, I noticed there wasn't a playoff pool guide and I could use some help selecting players. I picked mine based on the teams I think will make it to the finals...

East: Washington vs Pittsburg

West: Chicago vs Detroit/Vancouver

Four things:

1) Should put San Jose players' in there.

2) I need to cut it down from 17 forwards to 12 forwards.

3) Is the D good?

4) Are the goalies good? I'm too scared to gamble on Chicago and Washington seeing they have to unreliable goalies.

Personally, I wouldn't count out San Jose. I know they've all got this playoff monkey on their backs, but I think that's a bigger deal with the media/fans than it probably is with the players themselves.

Also, keep in mind that they're as close to a lock for getting out of the first round as you can get. I'd say that every other team there, particularly the Western ones, have a decent chance of being upset in round 1... which is just about the worst thing that can happen to a pool.
