johnny_canuck_21
Great GDT thread Forza! The Canadiens continue to pleasantly surprise me, & I hope they can win again tonight. It will be a formidable task, & I think they will need another very strong effort from Halak, especially in the first period. GO HABS GO!!! LeafsDog
Everyone is saying that the habs are 2-1-1 against the caps this season, aren't the caps 2-1-1 against the habs this season? so really, the season series was tied

habs-24
Agreed But As long As We Play Like We Did in Game 1 We Will Be Fine & Thanks well we would at least have a chance in the game WOO HOO! 1 exam down, 5 to go.....1 game down, 3 to go.... I joke, I joke. Lets keep the positive energy everyone. Washington will be back, as some have said, 'with fire in their eyes'. You know what it takes, go out and do it. And...I want to see more angry Caps fans. That was just too funny. we dont need to wish misery on cap fans, we just have to get our buisness done and not make too much noise about it Great GDT thread Forza! kinot-1
Food for thought,,,,,,,,,,,,,as per TSN,,,"In the history of the series in the first round, teams that have won Game 1 have won the series 64 percent of the time..." I guess I am looking for any advantage here.

miker
We rattled their cage now we have to contain them. They are going to come out skating hard and we have to show up for the whole game. We can't come out slow in the first period. If we can take this game panic will set in the caps dressing room and the momentum will carry us on. I'm glad to read through all the comments from our players that they realize the task ahead of them and know that it is going to take a huge effort from each of them individually but most importantly as a team. They have shown sparks of excellence throughout the season, nows the time to shine.
concreteveins
This game goes one of two ways. It's either going to be a carbon copy of the first game where the Habs come out on top after a very hard fought and tough game. Or the Caps destroy the Habs. I expect the Caps to step up physical play in this game. A lot of pushing and shoving after the whistle as the Caps are going to try and get in Habs grill. josephgrut
It's going to take a miracle for montreal to win this series. I've said it from the beginning and i'll say it again. But with that in mind, the only thing that's keeping me going is the fact that miracles have happened before! Game 1 was just a start to the wonderful miracle that I feel can happen this spring! Hopefully the habs can do it again tonight! GO HABS GO! Let the miracles continue!
