cbarker78
go habs go baby we have to stay the course and keep playing our game.if we can frustrate them again and commit to dumb penalties, thats half the battle, the other half is scoring more on the darn PP's rumor has it,ovechkin called in a personal trianer from mother russia.hmmm, wonder if he's playing hurt? we can,we must,we will!! i will cheer n pray I wish we had Andy Sutton to put another nail in that coffin.See how he laid out Leopold last night.Wow that was like Leopold got hit by a freight train. If Ovechkin was hit like that now especially if he is hurt it might end his playoffs then the caps would be done. CANADIENS27
Two more bright spots: An end to the eight game playoff losing streak and at least we won't end the season with a seven game losing streak. Let's see if we can at least Washington to a seven game series. A four game sweep for the Canadiens would be even better as well as a hugh upset. arpem-can
This game goes one of two ways. It's either going to be a carbon copy of the first game where the Habs come out on top after a very hard fought and tough game. Or the Caps destroy the Habs. I expect the Caps to step up physical play in this game. A lot of pushing and shoving after the whistle as the Caps are going to try and get in Habs grill. My thoughts exactly...they're going to try to intimidate us...

CANADIENS27
Fixed true but i think saying the habs were 2-1-1 was not to say they won the series but rather to point out that it was not 0-4-0 Actually, it should have been 3-1, but we gave up the tying goal in the eventual overtime loss with eleven seconds left in regulation. PA-USA-58
We have the momentum: 1-0 series. We have a hot netminder: Halak. We have the psychological advantage: Washington expects to win . . . but they didn't. We have tonight's game: 4-

tmash
While Game 1 was incredibly important to win on an emotional level, tonight is important to win as it would basically shift us to the favourite in the series and really give us a major advantage having to win 2 vs Washington having to win 4. Forza-Montreal
Great gdt forza. Thinking the habs are going to come out strong again for this game. Looking forward for this game Halak should get the call. Think the habs are going to win 4-2 this game. Great GDT as always they are getting better all the time Just a few comments before my offering, we had only 5 giveaways in 75 mins of play that is incredible just keep that up and we have to win more face offs For some of us it was no suprise After the event it's easy to be wise We knew our team would show up that day That they were ready to really play But now we have to play game two Some people are just wandering who Will come out as the victor Others know who will be the winner I know my HABS will give of their best They are ready for this test The Caps will come out full of fire We will play and feed their ire My HABS are full of heart and soul Every one will play their role The monster Spack will be their He's not afraid he doesn't care Laps will be there to get under their skin Sometimes I wish you had a twin The K brothers did just fine Think they might be better on the same line Gio and Gomez were really fast Cammi broke his drought at last Moore and Darche what can you say These guys really know how to play Markov as always really strong Gill you just couldn't go wrong Benny you need to just get going Your star quality isn't showing Moen you just keep right on skating Pyatt a star in the making Hammer and Georges glued to the ice A couple more goals would be nice Mab for a defense man you are quite small But on the ice you stand really tall Pleks that goal was really magic If we ever lost you it would be tragic Halak you move just like a gymnast Every ones comparing you to great goalies past So its game no 2 we would like a repeat To beat them again will be quite a feat To win this series would be incredible Your CH on my heart is indelible So come on team lets see you do it again To keep us all from going insane So all you doubters The HABS proved you wrong This run in the playoffs will be very long So all you pundits who gave us no chance I think it's worth a second glance I think you are just great HABS and it's nice to read people being positive for a change isn't it a good feeling just keep that up the guys need all the help they can get GO HABS GO :D Thanks for the GDT, FM. I would certainly hope JM doesn't mess with success, in the Habs lineup. According to HI/O (I think it was), we CAN expect at least one lineup change for the Caps: Brendan Morrison in, to centre Semin. (I hadn't even noticed he was absent in Game 1.) Thanks Guys & np

However if we can get on the board early and get inside theo's head we could very well take this.

kinot-1
They just said on CBC (Bos-Buff game) that when Ovie went shotless in Jan. against the Wings,,,,,,,,,the next 2 games he got 3G and 5A,,,, , I don't know why every pundit as well as Boudreau, are sying that Ovie was off his game. Did they stop to consider that maybe, just maybe we were that much better? I mean in the 2nd 1/2 of the game? It's all about how poorly they played, not how good we played. We need to shut him down as 8 points in 2 games was a possibility both before and after he had the 0-shot game. Montreal knows they need to shut him down, and hopefully they can continue doing that.
