So far you've made ALL the checks in the checklist to advance all the way to the Cup this year. This game is just a matter of routine. The routine you've used to get you this far. Halak made you believe in him and he has made you believe in yourselves. The Pens are struggling.....you've gotten in their heads........you've made them lose their confidence.....they are the ones questioning themselves.....wondering if you'll do to them what you did to the Caps. They know they needed the Zebras to help them every step of the way against you........no matter......you've overcome it all........nobody wins all games in a series......so you lost 3 in this one.....big deal.......On Wednesday night .....you'll be counting your team's fourth victory......leaving the EX-Stanley Cup Champs by the wayside. Tonight.....all of you will believe you will do it every shift and with every shift you'll do it. Mr. Halak WILL DO what he does best tonite the close that door so...so tight. You'll harness the power of the Fans belief in what we know you'll do tonite.....the millions of fans across the country & the tens of millions around the world.......... There is no question in your mind about if.........the question will be .....by how many goals you'll win tonight. It will all come together.......You'll have the best game of the playoffs so far.....and show these Pens your sheer determination & courage that each of you possess. You will be in the Zone tonight. You will have clear views of every play & have the time to execute and see the twine bulge behind Fleury. You will do this because this is your playoff year......your time to shine. I am pretty sure Gill will play, its the palyoffs and it will take more to take one of our players down! Maybe we might have a surprise and Markov will be fit to play, who knows! The big question for tonight is indeed how many of the D will be available, & if available, how effective will they be. Gill, e.g., has a cut behind his knee, & I can just imagine how uncomfortable that will be if he plays. Markov will not be the Markov we know, if he plays with that serious injury, & a big bulky brace. Spacek has not played in a while, & has just gotten over a very serious virus. After the amount of injuries to key players, I found myself shaking my head at the way our Habs continued to fight through it all and make the playoffs. Now I find that when they win they do it with the same grit, determination, great penalty killing, scoring, defensive play, Goaltending and coaching.I have probably missed a few of the key plays but you get the point, they play as a team and never give up. Some are really surprised to even see him skating.....with the kind of injury he had received. Have to dig down deep and find a way to puck the puck in their net. Time for players to find that next gear. Far too many people welling to coast out there. Everyone has to be going tonight.
