gut feeling: both spacek and gill will play. why would martin let the pens know in advance who will put cindy in a box tonight? ;)

I just had a mental pic of Gill putting Crosby in a huge carton box with little holes in it for breathing and Spacek taping it shut with tape. XD There you go, Crosby in a box.

From Habs I/O:

Tonight's refs for #Habs #Penguins: Marc Joannette, Dan O'Rourke

Not only possible, probable. Its not like we haven't been running mostly 3 forward lines and in games 6 and 7, facing elimination, the bench will only get shorter. Dress 7 guys if both Spacek and gill are ready.

Couldn't agree more. Especially if both really aren't 100%, there's no sense over-stretching our 5 healthy guys when we already spend 75% of the night in our own zone.

Hey guys! I haven't posted in a while but I decided to today for a couple reasons. :)

For those of you who have not watched this video before, it's great to get you pumped up for the game, or anything really

Last year when the Habs were down 3-0 in the series to Boston, habsinsideout.com showed it and although it didn't help the boys out, it definitely got me and everyone else fired up for the game that watched it :P

Also, I'm wondering if anyone could tell me the song that's played before the Habs come on the ice, thanks.

GO HABS GO :D

First time for Joannette refing a Habs game this post-season.

As for Mr O'Rourke he was present when the Caps crushed the Habs 6-3 in game #4 but he was also there when the Habs won game #6 4-1. In both of those game the Habs were on PK for at least 10 minutes but the Caps got a good number of penalities too.

I wonder what kind of reffing we will get today.

Jouanette tonight? I dont like the idea of having a ref from Quebec, they always have to proof that they are not in favour of the Canadiens and seem to call more penalties against Montreal

But it's the perfect smokescreen for Bettman's plan and the heat he's now feeling. It's his way of making it look like he's doing his best to show partiality or impartiality depending on how you look at it.

Ya hahaa, that's one way of looking at it. Bettman has Montreal just where he wants them. I am thinking horrid reffing tonight. Pittsburgh 1 or 2 penalties, us 6-7 penalties. Well the habs made it further than I gave them credit for. Be a great win tonight if they can do it, but with Gill maybe missing it's gonna be a big uphill challenge for the guys and Halak. I'll say GO HABS GO and not think negatively.

Im worry that today is the last game of the season. Cammi and Gionta its not enough for

big offensive Pens power. When Habs gets first goal, its over. I wonder to be wrong.

Halak can do magic but ofense is straggling.

Let's have faith!! Canadiens probably don't have the talent the Pens have but they play harder and with more heart and that my friend over shadows the talent!

As per Habs I/O 12:20 today.

"Lines used this morning: Darche - Gomez - Gionta; Cammalleri - Plekanec - A. Kostitsyn; Pouliot - Moore - Lapierre; Moen - Metropolit - Pyatt

The blueline pairings – Gorges - Subban; Bergeron - O'Byrne; Hamrlik - Spacek"

I like idea of Gorges and Subban

Yeah, PK/Gorges could work. Hammer/Spacek could be solid.

im not crazy about MAB & Obyrne though.
