I'm torn. I've kinda liked the Sharks since going to their very first game ever, and I hate Byfuglien; this makes me want the Sharks to win. On the flipside, I think the Hawks would be a better matchup for the Habs' game. But if they beat the Flyers, they can beat the Sharks, too...

So I dunno. Go Sharks.

I'd love to see the Hawks get thru so we can chase Niemi in the first two games and Put Huet in net for the 'HUEEEEEET HUEEEEET' taunting from the Bell center crowd. But that's jsut fantasy..I think Sharks are a lot more like the teams we have beaten this playoff season: rely on individual plays from star players, defensively somewhat weak, overrated goalie, not very physical. Hawks on the other end might be a tough call..especially with Keith and Seabrook up against #13.

If there ever was a year to make it to the Cup final this is it for San Jose. They've got a high powered offense that might be able to break Chicago's inexperienced (but good) goaltending. Chicago, however, has strong defense and a lot of depth. Will Mr. Thortnon and Mr. Marleau choke as the Hawks young guns skate circles around them?

Yep, it would be great for the perennial playoff chokers. What better way to lose in the playoffs then to lose to the 7th/8th seed in a weak Eastern Conference. That would surely accentuate their status as playoff chokers. But bravo to them for finally making it past the second round.

Nobody knocks off my Redwings but the Habs. NOBODY! :P Should be a good series. They should put this in theaters and call it Clash of the Titans 2. Two high caliber teams going head to head, could be the best hockey we've seen all year.
