Nine1One
They are currently Captainless, I think the front runners are Koivu, Getzlaf, and Selanne. I think they should give it this one or two seasons to koivu or selanne cause i've heard they are big voices in the locker room. And then when they leave in a few years Getzlaf. I think starting this season though Getzlaf will be the new ducks captain.
Rondalsf
Forward Bobby Ryan and the Anaheim Ducks have finally reached an agreement on a contract. Sources tell TSN that the restricted free agent has signed a five-year contract with the Ducks worth $25.5 million. The 23-year-old played in 81 games with the Ducks last season and posted 35 goals and 29 assists. Anaheim selected Ryan second overall in the 2005 draft, and in 168 games over three seasons, he has posted 71 goals and 60 assi

Kubby31
The Anaheim Ducks signed defenceman Paul Mara to a one-year contract on Thursday. Mara appeared in 42 games for the Montreal Canadiens last season, collecting eight assists with 48 penalty minutes. The 31-year-old suffered a shoulder injury in January and missed the final 30 games of the regular season. In 2008-09 with the New York Rangers, Mara recorded 21 points in 76 contests, ranking fourth among club defencemen in points. A native of Ridgewood, NJ, Mara has earned 247 points with 688 PIM in 681 career contests with Tampa Bay, Phoenix, Boston, the NY Rangers and Montreal. In addition, Mara has appeared in 32 Stanley Cup playoff games, collecting seven points. The blueliner set career highs in both goals (15) and points (47) in 78 regular season contests with Phoenix in 2005

Nine1One
IMHO Getzlaf is easily one of the top 10 Forwards in the league. He play makes, scores goals, gets dirty etc. he's gonna lead the league in points while taking the ducks to the Finals only to lose out to Montreal. Nine1One
ducks are in for a good year. The defense is gonna put peoples feet in their mouths. and the Belesky Getzlaf Perry Ryan Koivu Selanne look at that second line ITS LETHAL!!!! an amazing play maker and two amazing shooters. In all honesty if selanne can manage to stay healthy for the hole season He could hit 40 goals, so could ryan seeing as he hit 35 last season. And we all know koivu has the skills to hit them when they are open. damn that looks good.
