wheresthepuck
lol, is the Habs PR trying to get the whole team on Twitter? That's great! Any way we can get them to put the puck in the net now. I'll never forget the chance Gionta had on the pass from Moen that definitely would have put a different spin on the series.

weepingminotaur
If Gomez can rebound next season and Pacioretty stays healthy, I don't think a 30-goal, 65-point season is out of the question for Gionta. Pretty astounding that he was able to remain productive this season.
BigTed3
If Gomez can rebound next season and Pacioretty stays healthy, I don't think a 30-goal, 65-point season is out of the question for Gionta. Pretty astounding that he was able to remain productive this season. That's a lot of ifs and question marks for the team's top 6, and the same questions could be asked of the other top line if it stays the same: Can Pleks avoid his late-season fatigue/drop-off? Can AK finally be consistent? Can Cammalleri rebound after a terrible year? There isn't one guy in that top 6 coming into the year without a concern over his performance, with Pacioretty coming back from serious injury. I do believe Gionta will put up 25-30 goals next year again if he gets a full year playing with more talented guys than Lapierre and Moen, but if Gomez and Cammy come up empty again next year, even Gio scoring 30 goals won't be enough to compensate for the money we're spending on those 3. THEBIGGESTHABSFAN123
Gio was amazing this year,30 goals in a season were he played with pluggers(when Patches got injured)and with a guy getting a career-low.

Nine1One
Brian Gionta is our smurf and leader. And I hope it stays that way for a while. He is one of the players I respect most on our team. He is determined and has faced adversity. He's had to fill big shoes. And he's been our only legitimate full time scoring threat all season in my opinion. If he had hit a few of the empty nets he missed this season I could see him as having reached 35 goals. Of which we need badly. I feel like next year will be his best offensive season as a hab. Can't get much worse after having played with a certain someone all of last season. Heres to next season, I'm looking forward to it.
