S-Bah
Max Lapierre one of the homegrown Habs has made the scouts look good and the system.
CanadianMike
Something tells me Max will be in Komisarek's face all night tomorrow during the game. We all know how well Komi plays when he is frustrated. GO MAX!!!

CanadianMike
Beast!!! We lost, but I loved what I saw from Max (and his line). Continues from where he left off in the playoffs and preseason.
scottyantaya
He played well, his line played well. I sure hope he can maintain this tempo for another 80+ games.
leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Excellent game from Max, which is nice to see considering his slow start last season. He looks more physical and threw some nice hits, too!
Habcore
It's so exciting to see Max playing with that same fire he had in the playoffs. I sure hope he can keep it up all year long. One of the better habs last night for sure.
S-Bah
If Eller and Halpern play with Max most of the season Lapierre could quite conceivably reach 20 goals or more. His play just seems to improve every season and he is hitting his prime years.

CanadianMike
It's on youtube iof you want to see it. What I want to see is when he faked to drop the gloves (I went to the bathroom) lol at the wrong time and want to see it.

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
I'm all about a Habs win, and I don't really care what Max gets up to... But I can imagine he's continuing to make himself lots of enemies league wide by pretending to drop the gloves like he did with Talbot. Going as far as to shake his hands as if they were about to come off. Maxim walks a fine line. It would, IMO, be cooler to see him stay on the slightly respectable side a little more. S-Bah
Max's boxing lessons seem to have some players duped into thinking Max is going to fight when they throw off their gloves. Max makes clowns out of them and they get the penalty I love it. Go Max Go!
CanadianMike
He is a Hab and he is doing his job and I love it. That said I know there is a "big chance" that he will get his face pounded one day. In the meantime.....enjoying what I see.

puckoff1
What an embarrassment......ugh you may hate him....but you can be sure almost everyone in the league hates him even more and that kinda means hes doing his job to a T max aint a fighter, hes there to throw hits, forecheck like crazy, put up some points here and there and make everyone hate his guts and be a distraction to the other team.
