GetThePuckOut_mtl
My father is a season ticket holder for the Kelowna Rockets, and every time the Giants came to town, he said this kid really stood out. Great hands and doesn't back down from anyone. Can't wait to see this bulldog as a Bulldog.
Flunky
Brendan Gallagher is a 5'8" Giant. Talk about a perfect oxymoron. That's right up there with Military Intelligence, Jumbo Shrimps, Tight Slacks, Plastic Glasses and Rap Artists.

madsprite18
I guess he will take Desharnais place in Hamilton when he finally gets called up . From the video he certainly shows promise but why do we draft smaller guys (Locke, Desharnais) who play hard and well and then not give them a real shot in the NHL??? - Hopefully he will break the trend when he is ready!!! S-Bah
TSN interviewed Brendan when he showed for Team Canada's camp this week, he looked incredibly happy to be representing Canada or at least trying out for the team.
leafer4lifer1
I went to the red vs white game tonight. Leblanc and Gallagher were both on the white team together. I wasn't impressed with his backcheck at all, he looked like Shaq running from one end of the court to the other (slow) lol. However I liked his speed and forecheck and offensive skill. He was crashing the net too which is always good.

74Kos-yn-31Price
"What a steal. A mix of Cammy and Gionta. Hands, speed and determination. He is very quick, feet and hands. He went to the front of the net and the corners with absolutely no remorse and he also took a stick to the mouth(that would most certainly hurt) yet did not miss a beat. I realize that he is still very young and that he is quite small, a project that many teams saw fit to pass on, but he has an exciting upside. It was easy to see how he scored 41 goals with the Vancouver Giants in the WHL last and why Team Canada is interested in his services this Christmas. He needs to put on weight and adjust to an ever greater level of contact and physicality, but judging from the small forwards already on Montreal's roster, he will a great deal of inspiration and mentoring in his future. S-Bah
Brendan has 7 goals and 7 assists in 8 games with the Vancouver Giants not bad I can see why Team Canada wants him.
AK-1
This guy gets no love. He is having an amazing start. 15 goals and 26 points in 15 games.
CHC-4-Life
This guy gets no love. He is having an amazing start. 15 goals and 26 points in 15 games. He had a nice little tussle the other night too. He had three fights last year according to the guys on Sportsnet. Doesn't shy away from the rough stuff despite his small stature. I think this guy is going to be a pleasant surprise for the Canadiens and a he will look like a steal in a few years.
S-Bah
Brendan looks like he may have what it takes to make it in the NHL, like a Mark Recchi type sparkplug.

habsin09
This guy looks awesome! Should make team Canada, 2nd in the WHL in goals with 24 (only behind by 1), 5th in points with 42. All in 30 games played! Why does no one talk about this kid? Seems like he could turn into a steal at 174th overall in the 5th round.

Basically, small guys have a history of not making the habs and just hanging out in the minors.
31Careyprice
Has been cut from world junior under 20 team. Habs have 2 more forwards who might still make the team.

markmws
I am really suprised this page isn't more popular: this kid is looking really good. I know he's small but I will say he does have some talent... I am honestly more excited about this kids upside then that of Leblanc and Kristo. Def. really exciting. KORDIC3131
Love the fact that on Hockey Day in Canada, Gallagher scores 2 including game winner in a special game in Whitehorse with maclean and Cherry in attendence. It rubbed salt in the wound of Leaf fans everywhere when they said he was property of the Montreal Canadiens!!!!
