Hemsky83_09
He keeps getting hurt at training camp with an injury that will keep him out for a few months.

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
And he gets assigned to Hamilton. He turns 23 in a few days. He needs to work hard and get some playing time in the NHL this season, otherwise I think you will see him cut from camp again next year... And at 24 years old, that could be bad for his career next time.
Bean-Counting-Hab
He needs to not get hurt. Every time the poor guy starts to show promise his development gets de-railed by an injury.
billy-piton
And he gets assigned to Hamilton. it was a safe bet. he is waiver eligible and the team won't risk losing him for nothing once when markie comes back. it is weber vs. picard battle for the point shooter position at the moment. fourtrax
Seems like a good kid, but made of glass. Doubt he has a future with the Habs, frankly.
Fanpuck33
He is on waivers as we speak. Smart move to do it now, before teams have a chance to settle on whether or not they want to claim a D-man.

Tampa (Guy Boucher liked him didn't he?)

Tampa (Guy Boucher liked him didn't he?) I could also see the Jackets going after him. They've had a good track record with picking up Montreal's waived D. js2
Seems like a good kid, but made of glass. Doubt he has a future with the Habs, frankly. Not quite made of glass as a couple years ago he was a victim of a pretty bad headshot against Detroit during an exhibition game and then this past season he was a casualty of a dirty pile-up that took out his shoulder. Fair enough. But all his injury trouble has slowed his development and maybe made him more tentative on the ice? Wouldn't be surprised to see someone pick him up off waivers. If he doesn't get claimed in all likelihood he will be packaged and dealt to give the Habs room for other prospects coming out of college and so forth. amp73
Probably stays in Hamilton all year - the Bulldogs afterall do need D men I guess if the Habs have injuries he could be considered a call up , but then , correct me if I am wrong , would he need to clear waivers again, and the Habs could lose him if someone picks him up. But if he does get picked up he would have to remain a part of that team's roster Then at the end of the year when his contract is up he can go where ever he pleases Oh well , another prodpect with potential that never lived up the fans' expectations

S-Bah
Carle is a good defenceman just not good enough to break into the Habs lineup. I see a trade in the future for Matt before the trade deadline.

Ianzy
Nah I see he staying down in Hamilton for the year Next year he is a RFA so the Habs still own his rights Yeah, unless we have some rash of injuries, I don't think he will see any action unfortunately. Too bad, he seemed to perform well enough in a couple games I saw him last year, plus he's a right hand shot! We'll see what happens.
jennifer_rocket
1 goal and 1 assist in his last game. Hopefully he starts heating up for the Bulldogs. I still think he can make the Habs, and I feel like he would be an under-rated player on this team. Someone who can play even-strength minutes, make a good first pass, and play the powerplay. What does everyone else think?
