rosalie52
I have a lot of affection for former Philadelphia Eagles' player, Macho Harris. Maybe he wasn't ''macho'' enough to be on the Eagles' roster... Seriously, I hope he'll have an opportunity elsewhere. Well, whatever happens, good luck, Macho. CANADIENS27
Two coaches have now gotten the axe. Who's next. The surprise is Cincinnati gave Marvin Lewis a contract extension. That might be because Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco might be leaving.
CANADIENS27
It looks like Brett Favre is finally retiring. It figures it would take being driven face first into the concrete to bring that about.

Do you think New Orleans got a little overconfident after they jumped out to a 17-7 lead? They sure found out the hard way.
CANADIENS27
It's down to Green Bay and Pittsburgh with Green Bay an early 2 1/2 point favorite. Are there any other bets so far?

CANADIENS27
How long does anyone think the lockout will last? I wonder if they'll be dumb enough to cancel the season.
CANADIENS27
Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth seems to have trouble keeping his hands to himself. I'm quite embarassed that he's even donned the Redskins jersey.

CANADIENS27
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward was arrested in Decatur, Georgia on DUI at 3:41 A.M. this morning and was released on $1,300 bond.
CANADIENS27
It turn out Pacman Jones was also arrested Saturday morning at around 2:00 A.M. (if I heard correctly) for being drunk and disorderly at a Cincinnati bar (where else?). I wonder if he is done. I also wonder if NFL players are the most frequently arrested pro athletes. CANADIENS27
Hines Ward continues to deny any guilt despite registering a reported .128% alcohol, 1 1/2 times above the legal limit in Georgia. According to an afternoon DJ, teammate Ben Roethlesbeger will be a character witness for Ward. That would be a laugh in itself considering he himself has twice faced ***** accusations. Depends on how you count them. If you count every NFL player, regardless of whether he's good enough, you can expect about one aresst per week from that group. See ProFootballTalk's "Police Blotter". CANADIENS27
Pittsburgh Steeelers's linebacker James Harrison in a Twitter post called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell a crook and a devil. He also used an anti-gay, called him stupid, a puppet, and a dictator. Harrison also took time out to call his teammate, running back Rashaad Mendenhall a fumble machine (I may have his first name wrong) and Ben Roethlesberger only gets paid like Peyton Manning.
