Cleveland Browns outside linebacker Armonte Bryant will be inactive for tomorrow's game with Kansas City following an arrest during a traffic stop. Teammate De'Ante Saunders, who is on the practice squad, was also arrested. A Yahoo article says they were in possession of guns and Adderil. Authorities have provided details to NFL Media. The front office is aware of the situation.

Detroit host San Francisco today at Ford Field at 1:00 P.M. If Detroit loses this game, coach Jim Caldwell would deserve to be fired on the spot. San Fransisco enters the game as the most inept offense in the league. The 49ers have scored a league worst 202 points and are also last in total yards and yards per play.

Detroit takes advantage of an error prone San Francisco team to a take a 32-17 win. The 49ers had difficulty locating the line of scrimmage in getting flagged for 11 total penalties, seven times they were offsides or lined up in the neutral zone. Six of those occurred in the first half. The last of them occurred on Detroit's final touchdown drive that was also set up by 49ers' inability to locate the first down marker in allowing a first down on a third and 12. A pass interference penalty in the end zone immediately preceded the touchdown. San Fransisco also had two 30 yard kick returns wiped out by penalties and missed tackles on defense. Finally, after the 49ers matched their season 17 points in the first half, their offense would have trouble staying on the field and the defense couldn't get off.

Detroit takes advantage of three interceptions by Jay Cutler to take a season ending 24 -20 win over the Chicago Bears. All three interceptions were thrown into coverage. The first was in the end zone on the Bears' opening drive, the second was converted into a 59 yard field by Matt Prater, the longest at Solder Field. The third was a floater on which I have no idea who was open.

Cleveland has gotten a head start on Black Monday by firing head coach Mike Pettine and general manager Ray Farmer. Pettine is the third coach fired by Jimmy Haslam since he took ownership of the team in 2012 and the sixth since 2008. They have also gone through seven general managers since 1999. Quarterback Johnny Manziel may be following them out the door since he was spotted in a Las Vegas casino according to a USA Today report and Cleveland having had enough of Manziel's shenanigans. Until Cleveland can bring in a front office capable of drafting top talent, the Browns will be better known as the Clowns.

AFC wild card games today. Kansas City - Houston 4:35 P.M. Kansas City enters the playoffs on a 10 game winning streak following a five game losing streak.

Pittsburgh - Cincinnati. AJ McCarron starts at quarterback. Pittsburgh has lost four straight playoff games and Cincinnati has not won a playoff game since the 1990 post season.

Kansas City 30 Houston 0. Kansas City took advantage of five Houston turnovers, four in the first half, and took control of the line of scrimmage in the second half.

Pittsburgh 18 Cincinnati 16. Cincinnati gave this one away with two idiotic penalties on Pittsburgh game winning field goal drive - a shot to the head after an incomplete pass that would have resulted in a second and 10 from the Bengals' 48 yard line and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. The penalties moved the ball to the 18 which gave the Steelers a chip shot field goal for the win. The Steelers survived a curious decision to go for a two point conversion after scoring its only touchdown and the Bengals' curious play call on their two point conversion after taking a 16-15 lead. Pittsburgh's game winning starting after recovering a Cincinnati fumble on its 14 yard line on a running play. The Bengals had intercepted a Pittsburgh pass in Steeler territory and they can questioned for a running a play instead of taking a knee three straight times. I'm not sure that luxury was there.

NFC wild games: Seattle - Minnesota 1:05 P.M. Running back Marshawn Lynch is out with an abdominal injury. Seattle will be experiencing something it is not use to - playing in near zero temperatures.

Green Bay - Washington 4:30 P.M. Green Bay has struggled on offense this season due to preseason loss of receiver Jordy Nelson. That deprived the Packers of a big play maker and gave defenses the luxury of tight coverage of the other receivers.
