Not a Prospect? Seemed to do fairly well in his first pre-season game IMO. He was paired with Weber wasn't he?

I didn't think he good at all.....there was one play I remember, I believe in the first, where he just stood there with the puck behind the net and and took a hit without even trying to get rid of it....and it's not like he stood the guy up either it was a terrible play

Yes. And he actually hasn't been that bad. Quietly effective in my opinion. Nothing flashy. He won't start the year with us, but he could be in the mix as a mid-season call-up if we need one.

That's pretty much his game. He's not flashy at all but you can always count on him to make the right play.

He's been the Dogs most reliable defenceman in his own zone for the last couple seasons.

Nice to know,;)

we used 11 last year ;)

13 last year in total (if you count everyone who played in the season and not just at one time) and already on the way to beating that... Markov, Subban, Gorges, Wis, Sopel, Mara, Nash, Weber, Hamr, Spacek, Picard, and Gill.

I recall last year thinking we had way too many D men if everyone was healthy and Im thinking the same thing now. But last year, that never came to fruition. At least a guy like St-Denis can be shuttled up and down at will. I'm more concerned about exposing a guy like Weber to waivers if we can't deal one of the vets first.
