Ianzy
link to article can be found here.. ARTICLE what a bum Dallas Stars center Mike Ribeiro was arrested late Sunday on a charge of public intoxication at a Plano restaurant. Mike Ribeiro Ribeiro, 30, was released from the Plano Jail about 4:45 this morning after his arrest at Ra Sushi Bar in the 7500 block of Lone Star Drive, police said. He and three other people with him were taken into custody about 11:30 p.m. at the restaurant, off Spring Creek Parkway just east of the Dallas North Tollway. An off-duty officer at the restaurant intervened when two women in Ribeiro's party, one of them his wife, got into a fight with other patrons, police spokesman Rick McDonald told KTVT-TV (Channel 11). All four face charges of public intoxication, while a man with Ribeiro also faces an assault charge after police said he lunged at an officer during his arrest. Ribeiro, an 11-year veteran from Montreal, came to the Stars in 2006 in a trade with the Canadiens. He led the Stars in scoring until last season, when he missed 15 games with a throat injury. Ribeiro has three assists in the Stars' first two games, both victories. The team's home opener is Thursday night, when they'll play the Detroit Red Wings and former Stars center Mike Modano, who was let go in the off-season. CanadianMike
Ok this story is really stupid now that they have confirmed that his alcohol level was 0. FAIL. Off duty officer maybe was rude with Ribs wife (and wanted a piece of her ....ex stripper). I don't know....really dumb article. If I was a fan of his, I'd be pissed for this bad PR and that ugly mugshot! (just cause one looks guilty, doesn't mean he is).

I cant believe the nerve he has. It clearly says on the menu board "for children 12 and under." ---------back to sanity------------- guys, who cares? yeah it sucks we got virtually nothing for ribs, but the reality was he wasnt loved here & sounds like he didnt enjoy the spotlight either. he's happy in dallas, we have a better team now...its time to move on.
