maddienmike
CoRouleblue your GDT is still great For tonight's game I cannot wait Yesterdays game is long forgotten Just hope tonight's is not so rotten We have to play the Devils now We have to play and beat them somehow PK our rookie is on the bench Hope we don't get deeper in the trench But I'm not worried I know we can play Today is here it's another day We have to keep up to the Flies and the Caps We mustn't let our focus lapse There is still a lot that we can learn To stop our see saw so we can turn To get back to the games when we are winning This up and down has my head spinning But it makes no difference we love our HABS still But a win tonight would fit the bill GO HABS GO :D

Forever_Habs10
PK is a healthy scratch for tonight - MA Godin sort of surprised....then I'm not .....I don't think its the end of the world,so I won't make a huge fuss over this. I'm thinking that a few negative things have been occurring as of late,pk has been making some key mistakes, and the coach's decision was most likely something bound to come....maybe it'll give PK an opportunity to see things in a different light,so to speak. Keep ya head Subban. Rebound time. +

Innis_Mor
PK sitting out .... no problem with that; consider message sent (maybe "again", from Martin's perspective) -- hey, PK's capable, that is not the issue; it is his decision making that is failing him, at times. That's correctable. A 36 yo defenseman that's can't skate fast, is not going to skate any faster if you sit him out a game or two. That's not correctable. You have to work around that. This game should be a win for the Habs; they should come out flying and focused -- after all "last night" just happened. Look for Gionta to lead the way. fnveenie
PK is a healthy scratch for tonight - MA Godin Wow, kid has a couple bad games and sits. Spacek plays 10 really bad games in a row and continues to play. Sounds like JM.

Innis_Mor
I dont think so. It seems like signal by JM to PK that he is still rookie and not any superstar which cannot be benched... question to the disccusion, why didnt JM bench Gomez then?? Because PK has a big future ahead of him -- and the Coach cares (about PK as well as the Habs). Gomez doesn't (his salary is a contractual obligation at this point, not a reflection of his future impact). aka: "PK is the future; Gomez ain't" Wow, kid has a couple bad games and sits. Spacek plays 10 really bad games in a row and continues to play. Sounds like JM. Can't "fix" Spacek at this point of his career. If you know how, let us know, because there are in-laws out there that are similarly considered not changeable. Guest archey
i'm not going to critisize jm for this move on subban/weber. its not like it seems and putting in a 2X2 when you need a 2X4 or anything nearly that bad. weber needs to play and subban ran the risk and is getting his justs, for a day i hope. period. also, we've been working hard for a couple games, and its a back to back, and confession is good for the soul. i'm looking at you jm. confess you haven't been the best coach in the world. heh heh heh. RSD
Well we don't even know that it's strictly performance related, it could just as likely be that Subban was doing things on the ice the coaching staff told him not to do. As horrible as he was out there I think it's just as likely about sending a message and getting his head right. I wouldn't doubt it. He was doing things last night over and over again that had me just looking at my tv like
