i keep watching his hit on seabrook. I can see that it was a bad hit, the only thing i don't like about it is that it looks like he left his feet. Honestly it looked like he was going for the puck carrier who then passed it away and he thought seabrook was gonna receive it , which he would have if he hadn't looked up

That was a big hit and yes, definitely punishable... But, what I don't like is that the league lets some guys get away with it, yet throw the book at other players. Ovy for example, his feet always leave the ice when he hits, that's why he delivers such big hits.

I believe this rule was introduced cos of leafs Wendel Clark, he use to hit everyone like that and injured quite a few players. The league should not be able to choose who they're going to punish and how... Just like the delay of game penalty for throwing the puck over the glass... It's an automatic 2 mins, regardless.

Same rules should apply for hits to the head and feet leaving the ice. And for the repeat offenders, they should get heavier discipline.

That's my opinion.

I agree about the feet part,I can't believe that that was an 8 game suspension.. Seabrook was on the bench 45 seconds later.

Also was that a hit to the head? It looked like the contact was in the chest.

Looks high, but not convinced he went for his head or even hit it.

Not a huge fan of the "Avery mocking" incident. Pretty classless, if you ask me. Avery may be an agitator and drive people crazy, but Wisneiwski showed he was more classless in that one moment than Avery has. With that said, I am excited about adding an offensive-minded/physical D-man to our lineup. We clearly need someone with more experience than Weber and Subban to work the powerplay, and the fact that he can throw big hits and fight is a small bonus!

I like the edge he brings almost more then the offense. He plays a physical keep your head up type of game. And that can quickly change the momentum of a game. We need a few more plays with an edge like this. I think we have enough skill players but when go in a funk like they are now there's not enough players to ignite them in another manner.Big checks, or just simply playing Nasty when losing bad, I hate how teams take to us in this manner, I hope we can add another player or two with some real attitude and some finish.

If he plays like we think he's going to then this is ok. However I hope he wakes the team up a bit & doesn't get lulled to sleep himself.

Remember James whenever a Hab makes a great hit he is sent to the penalty box nine times out of ten but it's ok for the other team.

Yeah yeah I know not very positive but he does need to be warned  because i've seen it too many times.

 cause they should have retired it after my boy ZED wore it.

Robert Lang had a pretty good half-season with us before he was injured. Zednik was a slightyl-above average player until his injury, after which he was never the same, but I have to believe Wisniewski will be the best of the number 20's on the above list.
