DA_Champion
http://www.nhl.com/i...s.htm?id=548681 NEWARK, N.J. -- Jamie Langenbrunner is heading back to the city where it all started for him, and it could be a sign that the last-place New Jersey Devils are starting a roster and salary purge. The Devils on Friday morning finished off a much-rumored trade by sending their now former captain to the Dallas Stars for a conditional third-round draft pick that could turn into a second-round pick in either 2011 or 2012, New Jersey GM Lou Lamoriello announced on a Friday morning conference call with reporters. Ilya Kovalchuk currently has 10 goals and 11 assists in 39 games. If he keeps up his current production, he may be getting help from the 2011 NHL entry draft. Snow4Habs
So that's what a Devils captain worth on the trade market?
S-Bah
So that's what a Devils captain worth on the trade market? If it wasn't for the contract and pending UFA situation Langenbrunner would be a great pickup, the Habs would have had to shed some salary to sign him though.
