ColRouleBleu
The Habs public practice is on right now and the skills contest has started. This thread will not have a very long life span but I thought it would be fun to post the results here as I get them from the team's twitter First skill contest: fastest skater. David Desharnais: 14.65secs Tom Pyatt 14.42 secs Max Pacioretty 14.26 secs P.K. Subban 14.72 secs. Pacioretty wins. 2nd skill contest: the targets Gionta wins with 4 targets with 4 shots in 11.1 secs. 3RD skill contest:Hardest shot Spacek : 93mph and 98mph Subban: 98mph and 97 mph Pouliot: 102mph Picard: 93mph and 93 mph Weber: 99mph and 99mph Wisniewski: 98mph and 98mph Pouliot wins. And now they're playing a 4 v 4 game

Pacioretty wins. 2nd skill contest: the targets Gionta wins with 4 targets with 4 shots in 11.1 secs. 3RD skill contest:Hardest shot Pouliot wins. Not surprised at the winners except... The one that I would have thought hardest shot would have been Subban, for some reason.
Nine1One
I thought people were down on DD's foot speed hmm. I did not think Pax was that fast, but i'm not suprised he seems to open himself up for a lot of break away chances, suprised not to see gomer up there. netcase
2nd skill contest: the targets I think Gomer hit 1 out of 8. Hmmm I'm also surprised he didn't win the road runner award in skating. Pouliot's got a wicked shot at 102 mph. The Wiz maxed out at 98. I guess I thought that the Wiz had more of a cannon because of his accuracy.

AK-1
I think we know why Gomez doesn't shoot much... And so much for Pacioretty's rib injury.
