Communication was the keyword as the Canadiens practiced this morning at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla. The 70-minute workout was designed to make sure the players are on the same page heading into Thursday night's game against the Florida Panthers. Coach Jacques Martin made it clear that he wasn't happy with the overall play Tuesday night in Atlanta. Martin said special teams and goaltending prevailed over a sloppy defensive effort in the 3-1 win over the Thrashers.

There was lots of work on the power play and the penalty-kill.

In no particular order of importance, Scott Gomez took a therapy day; Tomas Plekanec cpontinued to work on the point on the power play and Carey Price will start in net despite Alex Auld's 2-0 record against the Panthers this season.

Hey guys,

Nice job 911

Back from school. In gym we were doing gymnastics and me and my friends found a pocket knife near the climbers.

Like yesterday I have a good feeling about todays game. ;)

And do not worry I have learned my lesson about saying the word.

Nineone1 as usual a great GDT

Simple but stylish that pleases me

There is something that would please me more

That our HABS get the highest score

In the past the cats have tried to upset our cart

I hope that we don't let them play that part

It's getting near the time for the real games

I know I don't have to any name names

But if they don't play better than they did last match

Our playoff hopes are down the hatch

So come on guys you don't have to be told

That the season is getting old

Every game should have a playoff feel

Not pretend you have to play for real

We've been feeding the bottom dwellers all season long

It's about time we sang a new song

We really need to up our play

If in the playoffs we want to stay

So come on guys get this done

Play like your playing the number one

GO HABS GO :D :D

Extend the streak and beat Florida in a decisive fashion, please. The Habs can't afford to blow any games from here on out.

Habs take morning off

The Canadiens decided to pass on the morning skate today. If the idea was to give them a chance to enjoy sunny Florida, it backfired. it's only partly sunny on Fort Lauderdale Beach and the 30-mile-an-hour winds have the palm trees swaying. Still, when compared to Montreal....

P.S. There's a jellyfish and man o' war warning in the ocean
