DA_Champion
Centre: Sidney Crosby, Brad Richards, Marc Savard, David Krejci, John Tavares, Bryan Little. Left wing: Johan Franzen, Andy McDonald, David Perron, Max Pacioretty, Rene Bourque. Right wing: Marian Gaborik, Ales Hemsky, Jason Pominville, Mike Knuble. Defence: Drew Doughty, Mike Green, Brad Stuart, Toni Lydman, Dan Hamhuis, Andrej Meszaros, Nick Schultz Goal: Jonas Hiller, Ondrej Pavelec It's a pretty complete roster, although a real general manager might tinker with it to add some grit (there's plenty available, with the likes of Colby Armstrong, Steve Montador, Cam Janssen etc.). http://www.thestarphoenix.com/story_print.html?id=4421152&sponsor= Some of those players I didn't know they had suffered a concussion. Doughty? Tavares? Really bad for the league.

Manatee-X
They've have some pretty major salary cap trouble though... which just goes to show you the calibre of players that are getting concussed. How can anyone say it's accidental when it just so happens to be the star players so often?

How can anyone say it's accidental when it just so happens to be the star players so often? Good point. Very good point. Maybe they can say it because they don't really care about the safety of the players or the quality of the game. It's all about lining their pockets. The NHL peddles careless violence, not physical hockey.
WinnipegJet
They've have some pretty major salary cap trouble though... which just goes to show you the calibre of players that are getting concussed. How can anyone say it's accidental when it just so happens to be the star players so often? I guess the easiest explanation is a simple numbers game. They are on the ice the most and have the puck the most, sometimes in high-risk, high-reward situations - ie. when they make a move or a play, they leave themselves in a vulnerable position. Obviously not all fall into this numbers game, but I think it can explain why we see more top-end players than bottom-end players getting concussed. Graeme-1
The NHL is a business: a few brain-dead players is the cost of providing a top notch exciting product on the ice that fans will pay top dollar to see.
