Despite the injuries, there are a few things that intrigue me about tonight's line-up:

1.This is finally a chance for Eller to play with two legitimate scoring wingers. He'll have a tougher match-up but it's time to find out if the success he's having on the third line can translate now.

2. Nigel Dawes. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing some time with either Gomez (in place of Moen) or DD (in place of Benny or White) before the game is out. I don't think he's a terrible player, so if he gets something more than 6-8 minutes on the 4th line, I'll be waiting to see what he shows us.

3. We're down a few good men up front and on the back end. As Wis said, it'll be time for the veterans to step up. And of course, up front that means finding out whether the little big trio can get their act together when they don't have Plekanec to lead the way.

Habs have a way of stepping up their game when the odds are against them, so I think we'll see a better game than some people expect. But it'll still be tough, no doubt. If Carey plays solid, we have a chance. If he falters, we are short guns to trade chances and goals.
