I'm saying Habs in 6

If only because,,,,we faced adversity last year and overcame it. How many PO games last year were we on the verge of elimination?

Price is on his game and the players will play hard for him. Unlike last year.

We've had time to rest, 4 days rest,,,unlike last year, when we had what 2 days rest?

Bruins will be overconfident and can't play their goon game in the POs.

We have speed on our side

I don't think their D is as good as ours.

We have more PO experience.

That's for starters as I can't think of anymore reasons.

Bruins are the favorites, there is no question about that.

Habs CAN win but they will need to have these 5 things happen:

1 - No more Stupid penalties; It taxes our players and kills all momentum, especially on the road.

2 - Secondary scoring; Gomez, Desharnais, Eller whomever is going to center a line that takes pressure off Pleks.

3 - Carey Price > Tim Thomas; Simply put, if we don't win this matchup, we don't win the series.

4 - Slot coverage; Diving to block shots is great and all but if the Habs can figure out how to cover the high man on the cycle, they will stand a chance of shutting the Bruins down.

5 - PowerPlay; Not only scoring on the PP but more importantly consistently drawing penalties particularly vs Chara.

These 5 are obvious but tangle elements. The largest off the chart of course is fear. If they are scared to take a hit and go into the corner with the "big, bad, Bruins" this series will be over by next weekend, if they can manage to skate through and around the contact, without fear, the series belongs to the Habs in 7.

Can't wait <48 hours.

I found this on the bruins forum. Now the Habs REALLY have to win. It's about a bruins fan living in Montreal.

"Please pray for me This is hell lol

If boston loses this series, I have to:

1. Shave my head

2. Wear a subban jersey for a week

3. Pay 100$ "

:lol::lol::lol:

According to the NHL.com computer simulation (which is usually wrong) for the 2011 playoffs, the Bruins will win the Cup. The Habs have the lowest chance of winning the Cup according to the simulation: 0.001%. I thinks the Habs chances are slim but I don't think they would have the worse chance out of the 16 teams.

Like someone said,,,,,,predictions are for smucks, or something similiar.

See last year.

Habs will win this one going away. Let's not forget the Chara incident. These things have a way of coming back....and I don't mean the Habs will take a dirty shot at any of the Booins....I just mean the "karma" or "judgment" or "justice" or whatever you want to call it, WILL come back to bite them. And the Habs owned Boston this season anyway. They just gave away that stupid 7-0 game so don't even count that one. But I guarantee you, the playoffs will be different, and the boys will take it seriously.

Also, we definitely have the better goalie:

It was a rough year, for the most part. But I really liked what I saw in two of the last three games....the Chicago game and the Toronto game. You just never know what can happen in the playoffs. Imagine if Gomez AND Cammy decide to "wake up" while the rest of the team is already in playoff mode. Imagine if Pouliot gets his act together. What if Moen has another "anomaly" playoff season? The Habs deserve it. They have had so much adversity, it's about time it turned around.

Speaking of which, the only thing I see staying the same will be the bogus refereeing. And if that is true, that right there could do the Habs in. I really do NOT want to see another parade of ridiculous non-calls where "daddy's boy's team" gets a free pass the whole time. Honestly, I don't think I'd like that even if it was one of the Habs getting a "free ride." I just want to see some good, fast, hard hockey and the better team win. Which, of course, would be us.

I have little doubt we can win this series. The only thing we need to figure out is how to neutralize the Campbell effect. If the refs stay away from the bias,,,this round is ours.
