Go Lightning. Go Canucks.

I don't know if the Canucks can win. San Jose is a bigger team, and if guys like Thornton, Heatley, Pavelski, Clowe, and Setoguchi hit the net, then they can light it up against a goalie who doesn't swallow pucks. Same thing for Sedins, Kessler, Burrows and Raymond though, even if they aren't as big.

I think Tampa Bay will give Boston a good run for their money. They could very well win, and even if the Bruins do win it, it'll be a hard fought 6 or 7 game series. As for the West, I just can't see Vancouver beating the Sharks (or the Red Wings for that matter). My thought when the San Jose-Detroit series started was that whoever won that series would be the eventual cup winner, and I'm standing by that prediction.

Ahh but usually the year after a city hosts the olympics the team wins the cup, according to my supply teacher today montreal calgary and if hes right vancouver will do it.

A fella at hfboards looked at all the Presidents' Trophy winners and noticed this trend:

First-time winners of the Presidents' Trophy has NEVER won a Cup.

Time to pop the champagne early for the failure of Vancouver. :P;)

CRB, you didn't get your wish on a seven game series between Boston and Philadelphia. Maybe Tampa Bay will restore your mood with a four game sweep.

that would be the best thing since the invention of chocolate ice cream but i seriously doubt it will happen
