kinot-1
I see that the selection comittee has 4 members with ties to the Leafs, whereas, only 2 have ties to the Habs. Just going with the grassy-knoll theory. and I'll quote my good friend Kinot-1.....big Woop....................... TKS buddy. ,,,,,or was that sarcasm? FirstStar
Pat quin makes sense as to why Belfour Gilmour Neiundyk got in I'm surprised he didn't try to get Joseph in as well(leaf fans brought up his name last season). I really liked Cujo, specially when he played in St Louis and Edmonton. But let's be honest, is he really a HHOF type player? I just don't see it happening. I like the selections so far... Just hope Burns gets his piece of the action. I'm hoping they will put Pat in. he is the only one in the builders catagory. As for Gilmour? Big whoop, he's got one Cup and one Selke and 1400 points. Mark Howe? No big deal either, the best he could do was 1st team All Star for 3 years, and over 700 points,,,in the NHL I don't have any problems with Joe and Eddie. Really? Did you ever see Gilmour and Howe play?

kinot-1
Really? Did you ever see Gilmour and Howe play? Yup,,,,,but quite a few players play with heart and desire....I'm just saying that those 2, did not stand out that much for me. My criteria for a HHOF candidate would be someone who won a few individual awards, a few Cups, and stood out on his team. Howe and Gilmour stood out,,,but that's abut it. The HHOF has been watered down way too much in the last few years. JMHO
Forever_Habs10
I can agree with Nieuwendyk getting in, and its something how it turned out....with Gilmour/Belfour getting the call also, were Joe has won a cup with both.
