All 82 games will be broadcast on TV on RDS and RDS HD.

The Canadiens recently announced a new partnership with TEAM 990 which will give them exclusive English radio broadcast rights to all 82 games. See the news release here. You can listen online via the TEAM 990 website.

As well, CBC and TSN (and their HD outputs) will be major players. Stay tuned to CBC and TSN to find broadcast schedules.

RDS on Bell satellite. Best 5 bucks a month I've ever spent. Worst 5 bucks a month if you ask my wife, but when it comes to the Habs, I don't care what she thinks.

I had Center Ice the 2nd year it came out, and quickly tired of it because of all the bush league play by play guys they used. Last year when they had that free preview,,,,i noticed that it improved greatly in that area. I also liked that option to watch multiple games at the same time ( great if you have a big screen TV).

As for me right now,,,,,,RDS all the way. I also get it for half price cause my wife is a former Bell employee. Works for me. :D

New voice in the booth

1299.jpg

If you follow the Canadiens on RDS – and everyone does, right? – you’ll be hearing a new voice in the broadcast booth this season.

Marc Denis takes over from Benoit Brunet as Pierre Houde’s analytical (we hope) partner.

Denis ended his 11-year career with one appearance for the Canadiens during the 2008-’09 season.

Fearless prediction, based on his RDS studio work to date: Denis will be an upgrade

I liked Denis as a player, hope hes good as a broadcaster but I don't speak french so I can't judge. Brunet is not the ETT LEEE BUUUUTT guy right?

It's actually Pierre Houde who is the play-by-play guy/colour commentator. Marc Denis will be the analyst, as Brunet was in the past three seasons.

Quoted from the Habs Links To Legitimate Sources thread

CBC announces Hockey Broadcast Schedule. They talk about various games,,,but what got me was the fact that the Habs are seen 28 times and T.O. 24 times.
