Corazu
I wish the Toronto area was getting such good coverage for the Habs games. Nonetheless, I buy RDS so I can watch them all. As someone above said, French doesn't matter so much as long as I can watch them. And hearing "Et Le But!" is quite funny.
Werzoth
Might be off-topic and I'm not sure where to look, but does anyone know any particular reason why this pre-season game is not on RDS? (all others are) : Fri, 23 Sep 2011 Canadiens @ Senators 7:30 PM EHIW I'm very happy all other 7 are by the way, so I'm not being negative at all (big improvement over last year) Just curious is all! I dont know why they dont broadcast that game but I'm not complaining, having the 7 others is, like you say, an improvement over the previous years when we had about 4 on TV

Forever_Habs10
My guess would be the Maritime provinces and Ontario would have the TSN regional channel blacked out. Dammit Tuesday can't come fast enough for me. 2 more sleeps

ColRouleBleu
Ah! found it... Friday RDS are showing an Alouettes game. Makes sense that reg season football (scheduled quite some time before) has priority over pre-season hockey
BeanCountingHab
Any idea if RIS will be showing any bits/pieces of that missing one like they used to? Either way though, I'm just happy the vast majority of preseason will be televised this year. Can't wait for Tuesday.
Innis_Mor
RDS rocks!!! CBC and TSN coverage of Habs games stink to high heaven. I don't need them; I pay the $5/month for RDS. Works out to about $0.41/game. Now that's a bargain!!

I am with Shaw and it is 3 bucks a month or 2 bucks when ordering with another channel and I get the NHL Network with it.

We have to buy the whole "French Varietié" package to get RDS, which is about $5/month. Totally worth it imo, but it is a shame I don't have the option to *just* buy RDS. Habs hockey on RDS is pretty much the only reason I'm going to be getting cable when I move into my new apartment....everything else I can just download or watch online...but I dislike the quality on NHL's GameCentre...so I need my RDS for my Habs! hwy19man
The 73 english games in the Habs region has been mentioned already. That makes for nine games exclusively on RDS and they are: Oct. 24 vs. Florida Nov. 10 at Phoenix Nov. 17 at NY Islanders Nov. 23 at Carolina Nov. 30 at Anaheim Dec. 1 at San Jose Dec. 6 vs. Blue Jackets Feb. 13 at NY Islanders Mar. 21 at Buffalo The two games in bold are on Wednesdays and with that being TSN's exclusive night. There will be other games on its main channel and TSN2 so the Habs games could not be televised on those channels. For the other seven games, they are on nights where TSN is showing the Jets regionally. The license TSN has does not permit the airing of more than one regional channel at a time. Bell. $3 is clearly better than $5, but I'd be willing to pay even more to avoid listening to the CBC (in particular) and TSN guys.

Honestly would rather listen to Pierre Mcguire blabber for a whole game over listening Cole's repetitive 80 year olds telling of a faced paced game.
