CANADIENS27
For once we scored a late critical third period goal to tie the score and also scoring at the end of the first period to tie the score.
dwdemonwolf
Our 5 on 3 box play is simply a joy to watch. Hal Gill suddenly turns into the must useful defenseman in the entire league and covers half our zone to take away a dozen passing lanes.

ColRouleBleu
Last night at the end of the game I had a flashback of being at the Bell Centre in early December 2007 when the team played even worse than they did this week in a 4-1 loss to Detroit and were booed like there's no tomorrow. I also remembered that Carbo back then said something about having to beat your own building. That made me look up what our record was after 29 games in that season that didn't end too badly. 2007-2008: Home 14 GP 6 W 6 L 2 OT/SO 14 PTS Away 15 GP 8 W 6 L 1 OT/SO 17 PTS 31 PTS 2011-2012: Home 14 GP 7 W 6 L 1 OT/SO 15 PTS Away 15 GP 4 W 5 L 6 OT/SO 14 PTS 29 PTS 2 pts difference: 1 loss to Booins I'm really not ready to press any panic button

CANADIENS27
The Kaberle deal providing immediate benefits. If nothing else, Gauthier didn't have to throw in a draft pick to make this deal. As for the game, we finally were able to hold a third period lead. CANADIENS27
Being able to respond to Islanders' tying goal by retaking the lead about 1 1/2 minutes later and adding empty net goal to restore the two goal lead. It counts for something.
