Forever_Habs10
LALIME RETIRES, WILL WORK ON RDS HOCKEY BROADCASTS MONTREAL -- Goaltender Patrick Lalime has retired and will become an analyst on Ottawa Senators television broadcasts, the all-sports network RDS announced Wednesday on its website. Lalime played 444 games for five teams over 12 NHL seasons, posting a 200-174-48 record with a career 2.58 goals-against average and .905 save percentage. The 37-year-old played seven games last season for the Buffalo Sabres. The St.Bonaventure, Que., native is best known for starting his career with a 16-game unbeaten run for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1996-97, and for his five seasons with the Senators. His best campaign was in 2002-03, when he won a club-record 39 games and helped Ottawa reach the Eastern Conference final. "My best moment, and also my most disappointing, was losing the conference final in seven games in 2003 to the Devils," he told the website. Lalime is to work 15 Senators games on the French-language network next season as well as contributing to other hockey shows. TSN

Homer Simpson would be a better coach, if you haven't seen the episode where he coaches football (if u watch the show) and his strategy is FUUUUULLLLLAAAAANNNNDDDEEEERRRSSSSS and, Bart is our star QB no matter what
uncivilengineer
I'm glad I don't speak french so I won't have to hear any goalie commentaries on Carey.
hatethosebruins
Isn't he not often going to be talking about Carey price as he won't really be working Montreal Canadiens games?
ColRouleBleu
Isn't he not often going to be talking about Carey price as he won't really be working Montreal Canadiens games? That's correct. The broadcast team for the Habs games will not change with the exception that they switched Marc Denis and Benoit Brunet's roles. Lalime will work 15 Sens games as stated in the opening post.
