habs_93
I figure it's about time I finally make a thread, huh? In your opinion, what are the three or so best and worst uniform designs that we'll see on the ice this year? Not necessarily the best new designs, but designs overall? For me, the best: Montreal - Not just me being a homer. Still the best. Timeless classic. Detroit - Second best design, IMO. Another generationally transcendent design that should never change one iota. New York Islanders - I don't know why, but I've always liked this one. I think it doesn't get the notability it deserves because of how awful the team's been for the last 25 years. And the worst: Nashville - I'm in the minority from what I read, but I think this monstrosity is disgusting. There's a reason nobody uses yellow anymore: it's ugly! Ottawa - The sad part is that their old uniforms from the 90s were awesome, apart from the black. This incarnation is painful. From the bad logo redesign to the nasty wordmark third sweater that looks like a practice jersey. Ew. Dallas - A basketball jersey with arms. And not a particularly pleasingly designed basketball jersey at that. http://www.nhluniforms.com/ is a good place to get example graphics, but don't just steal bandwidth from them by directly linking to uniform images. Upload them to somewhere like http://imgur.com/ first. How about you guys, girls, and mods?
