Guest archey
started reading joseph in egypt by thomas mann but that's not the whole story... as god is my witness i thought one had to cross water to get in or out of egypt back in the day of the pharoh. well not so. it was a simple nine day walk through the wilderness. not pleasant but doable. i'm not jewish anymore since switching my sacred animal from cattle to bison and i'm not about to throw any blame around towards the great religions of the world, and i have to go restudy the testament cause obviously i had i all wrong; ergo i could be changing sides on the lockout at any moment due to my new view of history. what the heck.... we're all bored aren't we? took ya a minute to read this. Guest habs1952
Ok, here's the question: Once put into circulation, how much tax revenue is generated for the federal government from a single $1 coin/bill over it's lifetime in circulation? If that coin/bill is used 100 times for purchases it would generate $13 in tax revenue(13% combined sales and gst taxes(HST) in Ontario). If that coin/bill is used 1000 times for purchases it would generate $130 in tax revenue. If used 10,000 times it would generate $1300 in tax revenue. Seeing as we only have the looney here, the 10,000 times would be about right, IMO. BTW,,,,you have waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much time on your hands. IMO. kinot-1
Last week, I got into a discussion with a friend about my weight. So, I decided to go on a diet, starting this coming Tues. So, for the last few days, I have been trying to clean out my fridge of left-overs. What happened to my big plan? This is what happened. My youngest daughter calls up and asks if she can come over, didn't say why tho. I figured she just wanted some advice or some tools (she's quite handy) or something. What does she want, I wonder, ? She showed up with baked goods,,,,,,a WHOLE deep dish apple pie (still hot ) , 18 small butter tarts, and 8 peanut butter cookies There is just me here ,,,,,,,,so, now I have to eat all of these mouth watering, delicious, goodies by myself. She said she got on a roll, and got carried away. Diet is now pushed back a week. On edit,,,I think I will try out here pie now.

Sure you'll lose weight while you're on it however as soon as you go off, yep you guessed it, the weight comes right back. PLUS MORE! It's all about making healthy choices & keeping active. Sorry I've got to go. Time to put on my eating pants for Thanksgiving supper.

kinot-1
I went grocery shopping today, I just needed a few things and one of those things was snackies. So here I am going down the snackie aisle looking for chips and stuff, when I came across "chips" that I have NEVER heard of before. I don't mean the brand name, I mean the flavour of the chips. There were the usual ones,,,reg., onion, ketchup, salt and vinegar, BBQ, etc. The ones that struck me as odd, were the Hot Dog, Tandoori, Buffalo Wings, Chipotle, and about 3 others that I can't remember and these are all flavoured chips .. I think life is passing me by.
