The preparation continues with Budaj starting in nets and Captain Gio! leading his troops. The full lineup should come later but expect to see Subban, Gorges, Spacek, Pacioretty, Darche, Desharnais, Moen and the young ones who didn't play tonight.

Nice GDT CRB this one should be a winner,Budaj will be going all out and after working out most of the summer in the mile high city he should be in great shape.

Gotta win this one, to give hope to the Habs faithfull. Budaj will give his all to show he can be a very good back-up.

I hope

A few points on the line-up:

- With Gomez out, wondering who will see centering the top line. I'm presuming DD gets first crack but you never know. Could Gallagher or Dumont also get a shot?

- Interesting to see the coach come right back with Engqvist and Palushaj. There were other players he could have put in, so he must really want to see what these two guys can do and who's in shape. Tells me these two guys are being closely evaluated for that last roster spot. I do wonder what that says about Trotter though.

- Lastly, will be curious to see what side of the ice Spacek and Gorges line up on. It may tell us a bit more about how JM plans to use them during the season.

Here we go with lines (courtesy RDS):

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gionta

Darche-Dumont-Avtsin

Moen-Engqvist-Gallagher

Bishop-DeSimone-Palushaj

Henry-Subban

Beaulieu-Gorges

Spacek-St-Denis

The interesting points to me:

- Palushaj not getting a lot of help with his linemates. He'll have to prove his worth himself.

- Spacek on the left and Gorges on the right... seems to confirm the plan that Gorges is likely headed to Markov's right side.

[/Today's lineup will provide a look at some more really talented prospects.Lots of hard working players,Palushaj,Dumont,Engqvist,Gallagher and Desimone at the forward positions.Beaulieu, and Dumont being of special attention to me,Dumont due to his work ethic (reminds me of a young Plekanec)and Beaulieu to see how his defensive side of the game is coming along.
