hatethosebruins
Both teams look to keep their winning streaks alive in this Friday night match up! Montreal: After starting out slowly, the team has come together and put on a 3 game winning streak against the Flyers and Former Cup Champs. Look for Price to pick up, as well as the offense, while the defense will learn to Rise Together Ottawa: This team had a terrible start following a tough season last year, not much was expected out of this rebuilding squad. However, the Sens have put on a good stretch of games, goaltenders Robin Lehner and starter Craig Anderson have played magnificently, while the rest of the team continues to grow and create a new identity of youth. *This GDT brought to you by Hatethosebruins. muskeg2
All that time off could prove to be a momentum killer. but I'm hoping the Habs have a renewed confidence that they can take into tonight's game against Ottawa. No Alfredsson helps, but the Sens have put together some pretty good games this year, so the Habs will have to give it their best and not let the Sens take control early. kinot-1
We will either come out flat (in which case they will run all over us) or we come out with too much energy and end up taking penalties. This one will be interesting to watch, and IMHO, will be too close to call.

maddienmike
Your GDT was very clever HTB Has the rest hurt us,we will have to wait and see We have to come out shooting, we have to come out fast We have to get momentum,we have to make it last, The Sens are playing well, they are feeling good But then so are we,as we really should We need to string more than 3 wins in a row Because we started our season really really slow We have to come out firing and not slow it down Our D has to be great and has to go to town The Sens keep making comebacks, cant let then have a chance We need to keep them in their own end,so the banana's can dance This game is no sure thing it's not an easy task So please you guys give everything, that's all that we can ask, A win for us tonight, is something that we need We have to remember they have a lot of speed So come on boys get out and play In the win column we have to stay GO HABS GO

Flying_Lion
After not playing for six days...I don't expect this to be a great game from the Habs... It's either 'rested or rusty'. I feel the same as you: whenever that coin is tossed, 'rusty' seems to show up more often. Of course, I thought we were going to get whipped through the last week we actually played hockey so what's my opionion worth? Great thread, htb. Thanks for getting the ball rolling. The last time I felt like this, waiting almost forever for a Habs game, was going into the season opener against the Leafs. I hope to high heavens that none of us have to suffer that let down again. GO HABS GO!
