Flying Lion your GDT is more than apt

I hope our team can adapt

Tonight will be a very different game

Hope we can keep the momentum the same

The first game I really watched was against this team

So tonight is special for me you know what I mean

When we win tonight it will put them above

The NYR's that we hate to love

So come on guys lets see a repeat

Against this team we love to beat

Now we have our Mojo going

Our winning ways our guys are showing

We still have a ways to go

But we can do it,this I know

GO HABS GO

thawesome2.gif ....Nice touch to the GDT.;)

The suddenly-streaking Canadiens will be looking for their fifth straight win on Saturday night as they travel to New York to take on the Rangers, who will have superpest Sean Avery back in the lineup.

Montreal is coming off a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators on Friday night.

No lineup changes are expected for the game against the Blueshirts, so Carey Price will be between the pipes when the puck drops just after 7 p.m.

Carey's the hot hand and still sharp after 5 days between games...why not?

It's not like Budaj has been horrible, he was really good in that one game. Like I said in the other GDT, I am truly against playing your goalie for both games in a back-to-back series. I know we never played for 6 days until yesterday but it's not like we are playing a cup contender. If you wanna have a long cup run you need to rest your goalie as much as you can, no matter how good he is. Look at last year, Thomas and Luongo in the finals. Both of them had rest in the regular season, Rask and Schneider both played 25+ of Boston and Vancouver's games. JM is making the same mistake as last season. Look at most teams, they play their backup way more. 3 games, 4 games. We only played our backup for 1 game.

Thanks for the kind words all. I've been focussing the time I have on the MN so haven't been around the GDTs as often as I used to be. This one was a last-second toss together. Hopefully the posts toward the end of the Thread are as positive as the one's that started it. GO HABS GO!

TT is 37, and Luongo is 32,,,,CP is just coming into his own and because of his age (22), he "should" be able to play B2B games after a 6 day layoff. I am sure JM will rest him as the season wears on.
