  1. 1. When Markov and Campoli are back, which player other than Subban would you use on the point on the PP?

I'd like to see Diaz or Yemmy get those second waive minutes. Jaro is probably the better choice, but he's gone next year, so i'd rather give one of the kids that developmental time.

Pleks goes back up front where he belongs.

Really comes up to Weber or Diaz for me. Both can shoot and both can pass. Diaz can do wrist shots as well which is good because we usually miss with our slappers from the point. Weber seems to have a more dangerous shot though which, if accurate, will most likely go in net. I guess we have to wait and see how both do until Markov and Campoli are back. But there also is a good chance one of them will be scratched after those 2 guys are back, but who knows if our D is ever completely healthy. But even if our D is completely healthy one of them could be switched to forward.

To me, the decision comes down to Diaz and Emelin. Pleks is a forward. Gorges and Spacek are guys you go to further down the line if things aren't working but I'd primarily like to see them making sure they play well defensively. Weber has shown he needs to work on his game before we can give trust him with the PP. He doesn't bring enough to the PP to justify keeping him in the line-up right now.

At present, I'll take Diaz, just to keep 2 RH and 2 LH players on the point. We've had enough defensive struggles and issues keeping the puck in the zone that I'd like to see us take care of this first. However, Emelin would be my next choice after Diaz and he'd be a guy I'd go to with Campoli still out.

Weber does have 3 power play goals so far this season.

Sure, but he's getting first-wave time on the PP and he's the trigger man on that wave (it's certainly not Plekanec). To boot, his errors have directly led to quite a few chances against and the PP as a whole has let up too many short-handed goals. Then factor in that his play outside of the PP has been pretty shaky too, and I don't think the 3 PPG are enough to keep him in the line-up, never mind the PP, once everyone is healthy.
