jennifer_rocket
Has NESN found a way to blame anyone but the Bruins on the loss? Dr. Recchi is blaming the fact that Max Pacioretty went to the movies last week.
honuhab
Dr. Recchi is blaming the fact that Max Pacioretty went to the movies last week. Marchand must have perfected diving and rolling on the ice with all of this time off to practise.
kinot-1
Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton will miss seven to 10 days due to a concussion he suffered in a first-period fight with the Buffalo Sabres' John Scott on Thursday night, the team announced. BTW, he lost the fight.
Guest
According to the Boston Globe,,Daniel Paille and Shawn Thornton did not accompany the team to Montreal and will not play Wed. Marchant is also still questionable for the game.

FirstStar
Yup, Prust won't get his chance to knock Thornton on his butt. This may be the end for old Thornton, for years he put fear into the hearts of opposing players. Once an enforcer gets beat to that point, they rarely come back. All an enforcer has is his nasty reputation, when a younging like Scott beats him up so easily, other tough guys and enforcers start thinking they may be able to do the same. For Thorton to recover, he either has to have a rematch with Scott (and beat him) or find the next tough guy he comes across and show the NHL he still has it and that what happened was just an isolated incidence. kinot-1
TSN radio: Thomas has been traded to the Isles, not sure for who tho. They say it could be cap related. On edit,,,,for a conditional draft pick. From TSN: "The move puts the Islanders above the cap floor and the team can choose to toll the contract so they can keep using the cap hit in perpetuity if Thomas doesn't come back, or just let his contract expire at the end of the season." Sashaband
yep, timmy the tuna is gone. He's such a freak lol. It's a smart move though. Boston has had a strong start out of the gate and especially after last nights performance we all now know that Rask is the real deal (not like we didn't already know that...eh Toronto lolololo) so why not clear the cap space and get rid of the old weirdo. Good riddance.

Guest
What will Thomas do for the Islanders? He won't do a thing for them other then help them reach the Cap floor. They don't need to pay him as long as he doesn't play and yet his Cap hit is still added to the Islanders numbers because of the over 35 rule. In Kaberle's case,,,,the Islanders would actually have to dish out the cash.
HabsRuleForever
What will Thomas do for the Islanders? Well instead of sitting on his couch watching the Bruins he'll be sitting on his couch watching the Isles.
