Innis_Mor
Poor Gooins had a bad day, they pick up a guy off waivers who they were all hating on last week, their captain get us the tying goal, they get beaten by a 20 year old rookie in the shootout to give us the game,Then they don't get Iggy when every one said they would. I feel for you poor poor Gooins. Yeah I Feel REALLY REALLY GOOD GO HABS GO + a million Calgary told the Bruins they were getting Iggy. The deal was done. The Bruins did win the sweepstakes competition, and let two prospects basically know they were not part of the Bruins' future; that they thought so little of them that they were willing to give them and a first round pick away to rent a 38 year-old for a few months. Not what you want to tell your prospects.... unless they are leaving. (Mulligan!! We take that back! You are guys are great! We want you two to stick around.) It was Iginla that refused to go to Boston. ("I'm not going to play for no stinkin' Booins!!") I can't tell a lie. Honestly, all that just made my day. He should have reconfirmed with Iginla that he was good to go to the Bruins before telling the Bruins anything. Feaster's follow-up to the O'Reilly offer sheet (near) debacle. HabsRuleForever
I saw a commercial for (yes another) reality tv show called Splash. It has "celebrities" competing for the best dive or something to that effect. I heard a rumour that apparently some of the Bruins called about being on the show but the producers had to turn them down. The producers had to tell them it's a show to teach people how to dive & they don't take professionals. Innis_Mor
I didn't even think about the bold part above. This is sweet icing on an already very good cake Bartkowski maybe struggling some now that he knows he may not be wanted in Boston. See his disaster on teh first Hab goal (Galchenyuk's) last night. From Boston Herald: http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey/bruins/2013/04/06/bruins-defenseman-matt-bartkowski-takes-step-back-with-costly-turnover/QwQZF3TScUMoGpW58o8YMM/story.html "There was at least one other NHL organization confident in Bartkowski. On March 27, the Calgary Flames agreed to acquire Bartkowski, Alexander Khokhlachev, and a 2013 first-round pick for Jarome Iginla. Bartkowski, who had been in uniform for the two previous games, was a healthy scratch that night against Montreal. Later that night, the trade was scotched. Iginla went to Pittsburgh instead of Boston. General manager Peter Chiarelli had to explain to Bartkowski that despite the ill-fated deal, the defenseman was still in the Bruins’ plans. Then when Wednesday’s trade deadline passed, Bartkowski was still a Bruin. “I was pretty relieved,” Bartkowski said. “I signed here because I wanted to be here. It was really relieving when it didn’t go through. Not like there was really any pressure because I couldn’t control it. But just not having to think about anything other than hockey is great.” Bartkowski could go back on the trade market. Deals always go through around the draft, which will take place June 30." kinot-1
ruins might make Lucy a healthy scratch on Fri., TSN: "When the Boston Bruins host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, it appears that forward Milan Lucic could be watching the game from the press box as a healthy scratch. On Thursday at practice, Lucic was wearing a green jersey and skated on the fifth line with the other two presumed Boston scratches, Kaspars Daugavins and Jay Pandolfo. During Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres, Lucic had no shots or hits in just under 11 minutes of ice time while playing on the fourth line. "You saw where he was this morning, and it indicates he may not play tomorrow," explained Bruins head coach Claude Julien after practice. "I haven't decided that yet." Guest
Game might be cancelled because of the bomber still at large. If this one gets canned,,, the Bruins will have 2 games to make up in the next couple of weeks.

FirstStar
Love seeing that, thanks for sharing. Thankfully the b's haven't been able to take advantage of our current situation. I doubt we'll pass them, they've given us chances to reclaim the top spot in our division.
