until they get rid of these players pleks, desharnais, gomez, kaberle, gionta, bourqe, maybe markov, (depending on injury status) and god only knows why they sighned armstrong this team is not going to make the playoffs. i hope i'm dead wrong but thats how i see it.

mmw, we are going to be fans of colby armstrong. great pickup.

bonk and johnson v 2.0, eller and armstrong on that third line.

he played 29 games last season and 50 the season before the leafs who are looking for size improvement would of sighned him for 1mill a year if he was any good (proned to injury)has lost a step.

A guy has a few injuries and people say he's injury prone. Doesn't anyone believe in bad luck anymore?

Into the way-back machine. Rocket Richard and Serge Savard were both considered injury prone early in their Hab careers and were offered in trades. Sometimes the best trade is the one you didn't make.

Emelin will prove that he is a solid top 4, NHL Defenceman

I would not go that far with my prediction but will say he ends up on the + side of +/- stats for the regular season.

Mark my words! With no improvement to our defense I am not expecting that Montreal will finish in a playoff spot when 82 games are finished.

The key to the Habs making the 2012-13 playoffs is more timely scoring during 5 on 5 situations.

dont take this personal but if phil kessel scored 37 g and 45 a for the lafs and armstrong looked average on his best nights why would you pick him up.it looks like MB is scared to make a move in case its a wrong one.i would hate to go into next season with the same team.

Armstrong isn't a 30 - 40 goal scorer. He's being brought in to provide experienced sand paper to the line up and at a cheap price. He's good at getting under player's skins and he's not afraid to be around the net.
